Two years ago I got the best massage of my life in Q1Spa from Anna Wood (Spa-Manager). Now two years later I got the second best massage in the Q 1 Spa from Allana. I can recommend this place to everyone.

Excellent service, excellent staff. Ask for hiromi. My therapist was up there with some of the worlds best.
Professional, knows her products and knows exactly what her client needs.

Thank you Hiromi

A truly relaxing experience, the spa is a beautiful space. The treatment was excellent (the summer special plus a facial); I would highly recommend Alanna. It’s a little on the expensive side but a fabulous treat.

Approximate cost: $230

I treated myself to a Signature Spa Ritual with full body massage during a recent stay. The ambience in the spa was perfect - tranquil and relaxing. The treatment and massage was heavenly and my therapist was excellent. The price is a bit on the high side but I wanted a treat.

Approximate cost: $308

I have been to many spas around the world but I have never had such appalling (lack of) service as here at Q1, Gold Coast! I booked 2 days in advance for a couple's treatment for my partner's birthday. We arrived well in time, to be told they could not find the booking (no apologies and an attitude suggesting it was OUR fault!). She spent a couple of minutes rechecking their system and then shrugged at us as if to say 'hard luck'. I told her I was not satisfied and her only response was that it wasn't her fault so I reminded her that sitting at the desk, she was the representative of the Spa and ought to take proper responsibility. A few moments later she walked away without saying anything to us!! A while later another employee came to the desk and we asked her to help. She eventually raised a piece of paper into the air saying 'Oh, it's here but hasn't been put into the system'. Once again, no apologies and no solution. I told her that in addition, I had rung the Spa 8 times in the last 2 days but nobody answered; she said that the receptionist was sick today. When I asked about yesterday there was silence. So, I repeated that I had booked especially for my partner's birthday - what are they going to do to resolve this? The only response was 'would you like to re-book for tomorrow?'. My partner, who works in hospitality was flabbergasted - no apology, no recompense, no attempt to help and no offer of any sort. This is an organisation that claims to be the best (and certainly charges as if it is!!). [Redacted inflammatory comment] Birthday treat evaporated, day ruined! Thanks but no thanks Q1 Spa (and your parent Exclusive Spas).

Popped in for a massage and Vichy shower on my recent holiday.
Very skilled massage, and the Vichy shower was to die for.
I enjoyed sitting in the relaxation lounge at the end with a cup of Litya tea and a magazine.

I also visited here in 2010 and had the same experience with women on the counter. My husband and I had a couples massage the day following our wedding. The therapists we're lovely and thorough, the foot soaks and wine (not that I could have any) was lovely and we we're relaxed before even entering the massage room. My husband was uncomfortable getting naked and the only qualm with the therapists is they should respect this and not demand or pressure a client to remove their underwear. It just makes things awkward of you aren't comfortable. I was four months pregnant, and although I wasn't showing at all, I had a specialty massage where oils that wouldn't harm we're used. They took special care with me. My hubby paid extra for a head massage too which he thoroughly enjoyed. He actually requested for the service to go longer for is, but they didn't have the free time to continue.
The ladies at the counter we're quite ride though. I purchased a few products (without prices) and paid after requesting my bill. We we're at the hotelfor another few days and then upon returning home, I received a call from the reception telling me I hadn't paid enough. I was shocked as the service was very expensive. They said I owed them another $40. I told them like he'll I did and requested they not call back. I paid a fair few hundred plus another hundred for the products. I was so angry when they called. They said I hadn't paid enough for the massage. I just couldn't understand how that could possibly be so and to ring a client after they'd left. I won't be back to the spa, which is a shame as I'll certainly be back to the hotel.

Approximate cost: $400-500
