Amazing! call out, after call out!

These guys are amazing! I live on the Sunshine Coast, and my old Ford Falcon was on its way out. For about a week before I made a new car purchase to replace my Falcon, roadside assistance came to my aid nearly every day to jumpstart my car just so I could get to and from work. It wasn't ideal, but I don't have family on the Sunshine Coast, so these guys saved me my job, for sure. Thank you to John, Johnnie and Mikey. Such life savers, truly grateful for their service, and also the company for their help. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

NO Help Offered - a warning to members
after being a loyal member for 7 years paying ultimate cover, I had a battery die on me unexpectedly, and due to me being 3 days late in paying the yearly premium, because I had to use that money to buy a battery. I rang through to the membership line. I explained my predicament. I asked, in fact I begged for an extension to pay the premium as after buying the battery they refused to provide help, or an extension. Due to this experience, I have been left without car for over a week. all they cared about was getting their money and no consideration for me at all. what a disgraceful result from RACQ - shame on you.

I've been a member of RACQ since I got my first car in 1994. I had required a few road assistances from them e.g flat tyre, needing new batteries and getting my car towed to the mechanic. I have always been happy and grateful for their helps.

Yesterday the RACQ's truck had towed my car to a near by mechanic. Big thanks to RACQ, the call centre person and the driver who helped me out of the car's breakdown incident at Mango Hill yesterday early morning.

I am so impressed with their professional manner, quick respond & great customer service! RACQ have a customer for life!

This is the first time I've had to use road side assistance for a long time. Wow, I was very, very impressed. From the great initial call to call centre to the arrival of roadside assist - I was advised it could be up to 60 minutes and the gentleman was there in 15 - fabulous. Was certain it was my battery and it was confirmed. Fantastic service RACQ. Thank you.

I've been a member of RACQ since I got my first car in 1995, I'm now considered a silver member but feel more like a gold member. This company has been teriffic support for me over the years, they've fixed car batteries, helped me with a radiator issue and even helped me figure out that my mechanic was not as honest as I thought he was. I recommend them to everyone who drives a vehicle because you just never know when you need them. They do a fantastic job and it's money well spent. I've even changed my CTP on my rego slip to RACQ and for doing that they gave me $10 discount. I know I can call them at any time when I have trouble and they will always, always be there. Wouldn't be without it now...would you?

Always just a phone call away if my vehicle decides to breaks down, there service quality is great especially when my battery went flat at the train station. I wouldn't ever be without RACQ.

Had recently had to use roadside assistance to attend to my recent break down, great timing to arrive & professional manner & great customer service. Only problem / concern i had was the call centre, but once Mechanic / Roadside Assistance arrive he was very understanding to get me back and running again.

I have nothing but appreciation for RACQ, They are the best and most sincerest company I've ever dealt with. Recently I had alot of trouble with my car and was unsure of the issue. My mechanic was letting me down and the only people that gave me the right advice and even recommended a new mechanic was RACQ roadside assist. Everyone on Brisbane roads should be with them. They're great!!!!!

RACQ roadside assist should be highly commended for the person they dispatched to fix my car recently. I ended up with a flat battery and the RACQ guy identified the problem in seconds, he recommended a new battery, told me all about battery options and even beat the competitor prices. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable and with me in 15mins flat. Wouldn't be without RACQ would you.

This review is for the RACQ Call Centre that deal with the roadside breakdown calls. What a great service they provide. I have been a member for many years now & it is fantastic. I pay $70 a year & it provides me with 12 months of roadside breakdown service. Definitely worth signing up to.

Am now a Gold Member and fortunately I haven't had to use RACQ regularly, but it's peace of mind having the membership just in case. But last night we had the car etc all packed ready to head off in the morning to our camping grounds, I went to fill up the car and noticed a flat battery. It was 11pm so checked out RACQs website where they said they could change my battery 24/7. I rang and the lady said someone would be there within 45 mins which I thought was not too bad for a Friday night. But within 8 mins the RACQ car pulled up, ran a few tests, changed the battery, easy option to pay by credit card and he also found a problem from my previous car service where my mechanic left a hose undone. I'd noticed my car was running sluggish, but when he reconnected the hose, it's been great ever since. Very very friendly and helpful person, he was a lovely pleasant Irish man fresh from Ireland. Hassle free service, couldn't ask for anything better .. Thank you

My neighbour had exactly the same experience with her car. She was getting akk of our kids into the car for school at 8.15, flat battery, called RACQ and the kids got to school on time and she even got to work by nine. They must be everywhere!

Flat battery today. Roadside assistance came within 20 mins, changed my battery and I was on my way. Mechanic was a lovely bloke, did a great job and was pleasant. RACQ is worth every penny even if you only use it occasionally. I have been a member for 20 years and used the service about 4 times. Love having that peace of mind.

I have been with RACQ for Car Insurance for over 10 years and have had contents & pet insurance with them for over 5 years. The quality of service is incredible and I feel so secure having them as my insurer. I know you can find cheaper services but I trust RACQ 100% so I won't be changing.

Over the years, we've enjoyed unparalleled service from RACQ Roadside Assist. I've had a battery changed in my car, we've had a couple of instances where keys have been locked in the car, a couple of tows and some other diagnostic visits.

RACQ is definitely money well spent. It's not only peace of mind but it's convenience, value and responsibility. Unless you're really savvy with cars and how to fix them, I think NOT having RACQ membership borders on irresponsible. You can't afford not to be able to call on someone in those unexpected times of need.

Given my car is getting on in age, I could not live without RACQ and they provide fantastic discounts on many services and when I recently phoned them regarding my expired card I was pleasantly surprised to see they offered a discount for renewal for 2 years over the phone.

I had to use my Motor insurance for the second time in 2 an a half years, no fault both times, 1st was crash in 2008 now had my Ute stolen early Dec. They investigate for fraud which is a quite uncomfortable at the time but in hindsight it means they don't wast money on scammers which is comforting to know. Once the claim was on the way they were so helpful and efficient, they lease with you to establish a fair value, which is often hard when the car is gone, however i received what i thought was quite fair value and will be able to replace it with an equivalent vehicle. So overall i feel we have come out on level terms. It was not like other Insurance experience's you hear from your friends where they have to go backwards in vehicle because market value works out that way.

Roadside assist is a must, I have only ever had to call them out once, and they were very helpful, I love knowing you are covered if you breakdown or get a flat tyre.

Fantastic idea! I have one of the top covers because I drive a lot - thankfully I have never had to use it, but every time I have to call for something else (change address, etc) the staff are so helpful.

The staff at the RACQ call centre don't get enough credit for what they do. The deal with people everyday all day that have broken down on the side of the road and a cranky and sometimes abusive over the phone. They have always been very helpful and patient with me. After all I am ringing them for help. And where else could you get roadside assistance from $77 a year.

My car died on the Captain Cook Bridge in Brisbane and it was peak hour. When I called the RACQ mobile service the lovely lady on the other end really helped and was very calmng. The truck turned up quickly and The gentleman driving could not help me enough. They really helped me in a sticky situation!

Andrew from Pinkenbah breakdown service who works at Brisbane Airport was quick to attend and help me with my broken down car. He was very thorough, explained things as he was searching for problems, involved me in the process even though I have no clue about mechanics, then provided a quick and easy solution to get me going again.

Only ever used the road side assistance twice,but when you need it you certainly are glad you belong. Lost a rear wheel from vehicle half way between Rockhampton and Mackay and the local RACQ service operator was attending us within the hour. Service operator did a 260 km round trip to get the parts we required and provide coffee and lunch for us . Had us back on the road within 8 hours of our breakdown . Service was excelant.

During the periods I had basic/Blue cover with RACQ, I never needed to use them much but it was so great to know they were there. Especially since I didn't know much about cars at first, including how to check my oil and water! A couple of times I ran out of petrol and they promptly arrived to help me out, explaining the second time that $10 worth of fuel will only take you about 15k's or so. That was when petrol was much cheaper than today of course. They were very helpful after a major accident I had a few years ago, knowing that part was taken of was very reassuring. I also have my CTP with RACQ and am very happy with that choice.

thankfully I have only needed to use this service once. My car would not start, I HAD ONLY HAD IT TWO WEEKS. he service officer came in less than 20 minutes and had found the problem within 5 minutes. Thankfully for me it was nothing serious. Friendly service and great advice which we undertook to make our car better. Have never looked back

very good, very fast, friendly, strongly recommended, Absolutely great, pay only about $140 a year & they come out to any breakdown with QLD, and then if you are interstate the other interstate clubs will cover you. What a great idea
