I can't say i have dined here but have got takeaway seafood a few times. The quality of "fish and chips" is well above the quality of your standard fish and chip shop. Great value and the staff really are quite friendly.

Being a Sydney Swans supporter, I was a bit hesitant to step into this up market fish and chip cafe (owned by James Hird). But, I have to admit that it is a nice trendy place, and has very good seafood. I definitely would go back and leave my footy scarf at home.

Get takeaway from here occasionally. Fish is great and better than most however is quite steep in its price. Found 'minimum chips' to actually only be enough for one person, used to minimum chips been enough for 2 or 3.

Overall pretty good but not outstanding

Had lunch here today and I loved it. The value for their weekday express lunch was outstanding. For $12.95 you could get beautiful grilled fish with chips or rice and salad. Or any of a whole list of other choices. My friend had the pepper squid and said it was soft and tasty. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be back.

The food & service here is wonderful. We even get our take away fish & chips from here now. It is the best fish & chips you'll ever eat. Just so light & tasty. Not stodgy. And they also have skewers of chilli or garlic prawns & scallops which are delicious. I have never had a bad meal at this place. They also have reasonably priced seafood platters which are magnificent for a special occasion. These can also be bought to take away. The calamari is always very well cooked - not rubbery. The service is friendly & prompt. The ambience is typically bistro - chairs are not very comfy, but who cares as you savour the best seafood in town at the best price.

We often go here for takeaway and the food is great. The salt and pepper squid is certainly on the must-try lists for all newcomers. Lovely presentation and grest tasting food.

lively and easy, really good atmosphere, generally very busy when you go in but the staff are still very attentive and friendly, the cakes are also really good for desert!

Really great seafood, surprisingly, for a small inner suburb cafe. The quality is better than many pricey seafood places in the city.

They do takeaway, which is great, cause the place is always PACKED - like, can't beat your way to the restrooms packed! Probably best to get a reservation on most nights, just to be safe.

Well worth being among the other sardines though, as the food is yuuuummy!

This is one very upmarket Fish and Chip shop! It's a sit-down restaurant rather than your traditional Fish & Chippery. The decor is very nice and it presents well but the prices are very high for the quality of food. If I remember correctly the Fish & Chips was $17. I ordered a Fish Burger which was nice but not really worth $16 even in a sit down environment.

Approximate cost: $16

We went here with a group of friends for dinner. I had the Salmon Steak with Chips and salad which was quite nice. Just about everything on the menu is fish related. It was very busy on the night we went.

Approximate cost: $17
