i would not recommend this place as i did not enjoy it
it seemed understaffed and i am not happy with it

Ordered Chicken Ceasar Salad and when it came took one bite of chicken and could tell something was off with it, it was not a breast but bits and pieces. Once food was delivered no one comes back around to ask how your meal is, so I pushed chicken to the side and ate salad. Had to flagged the wait person down (not a busy day) to let her know that the chicken was off, she took my dish and said "I'll let the cook know". I felt like management should have come and talked to me as that is a pretty serious complaint and at least apologize.

Excellent cafe food, great outdoor setting, dog friendly and fast service. Only thing was, drinks arrived after food but overall, very happy and will be back. Can't ask for more!

great staff, great location. I love that i found a place close to the water without the constant traffic noise and i can let the kids roam a little cause its not on the road side

GREAT LOCATION that is all it has going for it. We will not be back here again. Terrible Coffee and food not appetising at all and not presented well. A general look and feel of unclean and not fresh, from the staff to the premises. 2 of our party were almost finished their meal before the others came out. Meet and greet at register quite off putting re hygiene.

I walk past this place often, and as it is always busy, decided to give it a try.

As soon as we walked in, I heard someone talk to a waiter about how long they'd been waiting for their coffee, so knew straightaway we would have a wait ourselves.

I must admit, if I hadn't been there with my mum, who is extremely patient, I would have walked out. We only ordered coffee and muffins and still hadn't got them after nearly alf an hour. Although the coffee was quite good, the waiter wasn't friendly at all and didn't apologise for the wait either.

The view from this spot is lovely, but I don't think I'll come back here.

food was fresh quick and delightful, service was ok but very busy so forgiven, reasonable prices in fabulous location on beach at Scarborough. loved it

I have to say I am very dissappointed with this restaurant. We wanted to order their chat potatoes to eat only to be told that they were only serving them with their burgers. When our burgers came out there were 12 tiny pieces of chat potato on our plates. We left the restaurant still feeling hungry. I am not sure whether we will return to this restaurant.

A great setting for breakfast or lunch with views of the bay to take in over a coffee or cold drink while you dine. The menu has something for everyone, my wife is GF and is always impressed with the choice. Staff are always friendly and helpful no matter how busy they are. Excellent value for money

Absolutely loved their big breakfast! Huge serving that I could easily have shared with someone else if I hadn't been so hungry. Great coffee and juices and a fabulous location and atmosphere bayside at Scarborough. Highly recommend paying them a visit!

the bayside venue and surroundings are of course the killer attraction. and the staff/owners are all very nice.

BUT, and it is a big but. the menu is really really lacking in any interesting choice. worse, what arrives on your plate is quite disappointing and poorly conceived and delivered.

whoever is in the kitchen just isn't up to the job, period. even given the very basic menu, and he still can't deliver something great on the plate (and we are not expecting or wanting haute cusine here, just tasty casual food well done and presented)

now the kitchen used to be pretty small, but i believe has been extended. but i have eaten in lots of restaurants that produced great food in a miniscule space

if it wasn't for that, we would be there every weekend (and week)!

but a great place to enjoy a glass of wine on a Suday arvo or a coffee during the week

PS i imagine that breakfast is prob better, so maybe try that. a nice spot. and nice people, and good service. now if we can only get a much better menu and some decent food on the plate

A great cafe to do brekky at. The view is gorgeous and the service is so fast. I love the eggs benedict, that is always cooked perfectly. Prices are quite cheap also.

Such a lovely setting by the sea, this is definitely a cafe that I will be coming back to. I was surprised by how fast the service was. The coffee and food were exceptional.

We love to have brunch here. The cafe is just across from the bay looking towards Bribie Island and next to the caravan park. The food is so yummy and the service is excellent. You can sit and relax in arm chairs or sit at tables and enjoy fresh, tasty meals. I especially like the roast vegetable salad with pumpkin, beetroot, fetta cheese and rocket. The brekky menu is great too and follow this off with a yummy chai latte! MMMMMMMMMMMMM.
