A great asian restaurant on Brunswick st. It is beautifully decorated and has a really good vibe about it. The menu is inspiring and full of great sounding, delicious tasty bites. I'd recommend caramelized pork bite - Twice cooked pork belly served woth green nam jim, shallots and chips, or rice queen fried rice with prawn and roast pork. They also have a live DJ on certain days.

Awesome quirky atmosphere & delicious food! Prepare to spend up but it'll be well worth it. Good for a special occasion & on a warm summers night!

Haven't tried the main menu, but the desserts are really good!
We ordered the Black Sticky Rice with Pandan Coconut Cream & Coconut Sorbet. We were sharing and it was somebody else's choice. I had my reservations initially (not particularly a fan of rice or coconut desserts) but this really changed my mind. It was creamy with a nice flavour, but not too rich or overpowering.

Went here for a nice dinner out with my wife, after hearing people rave about it. I must say, we were quite disappointed.

The food is overpriced, albeit tasty. The venue itself is quite loud. Our waitress was very friendly and well presented, but many of the other staff were far too casually attired for a restaurant quality establishment. I'm not sure if it's a Fitzroy thing, but it doesn't add to the ambience whatsoever.

I won't be rushing back.

I really like this place. I've always been with a large group and it's really easy to share food. They have great little plates of super fresh yummy food. Service can be a little slow on a busy night, but it always done with a smile, which helps you forgive them.

We tried this place for the first time on Friday and just loved it! The food was fresh, very tasty and the service was outstanding. They didn't have a table for us when we arrived (without a booking) so we were seated on the comfy sofas and bought menus and checked on regularly to let us know when a table would be ready.

I managed to spill a martini the bartender had carefully prepared and the manager just asked him to make it again for me - I've never seen anything like that anywhere before!

They had a great singer who matched the mood of the place. For a Friday night it was refreshing to find somewhere that wasn't super noisy or crowded where the staff were friendly and fun, the service great and the food excellent. We spent $25 a head on three different starters and a main course between two.

Really don't have anything bad to say about them - we'll definitely be back!

Dodgy name - I understand it's tongue in cheek but if you're going to call your restaurant something like this then it has to be brilliant. And it's not really. It does have potential though. Food is fresh and tasty for the most part. Service is slow though and drinks are super exxy (probably to make up for the cheap food prices).

Approximate cost: $12
