Amazing food mainly specialise in quality/ wagu/ dry aged beef. Not a great choice for vegetarians but they do offer to speak to the chef if there is something you would like. Service was perfect. The decor is quiet simple, contemporary with mood lighting (actually seems quiet dark when you first walk in) One of the top restaurants in Melbourne.

Really exceptional food and amazing surroundings.. we love eating here.. we have had many special memories at the Rock pool and we keep coming back! One of our favourite dishes is the quail.

I took my partner out for her birthday and wanted to surprise her with some where special.
We shared a 750g steak that was cooked to perfection. The service and overall atmosphere was exceptional. I would definitely go there again for a special occasion.

Wonderful ambience

The food is seriously AMAZING!! I have had no problems with service like someone mentioned, been twice and both times service was exceptional. But the food is the standout, great for a special occasion or just to treat yourself! The price may seem expensive to most, but think about the excellent quality of food they are providing. All locally sourced and some organic items. They are supporting Australian farmers!

big & varied menu, found it very hard to select meal..... real shame the service was so poor, not sure they can justify the hefty price tag without a high service level.... Thankfully the food was very special. Hopefully the next time i go the service level will have improved

Rockpool not only exceeded any expectation we might have had, the food was exceptional the service was excellent. The professionalism that they displayed was unforgetable. Have been there twice for birthdays.
