Food was good. Service was good. Would have been better if they didn’t try to mix our bill up with somebody else’s and there was an extra $1000 on our bill! Lucky our treasurer checks bills. We had pre paid for the night so it was strange to get the bill.

This place is a great place to eat. I have been here a few times and the service is outstanding. The steak is perfectly cooked, I also recommend their special chicken and desserts. From start to finish, you will have a great dining experience.

Love ROCKPOOL. Came here last night and could not fault the food or the service. Cocktails were delicious. The bread, I could not get enough of. The steak my partner ordered was delicious and also really enjoyed the mushy peas (must try!) and the King George Whiting I ordered was so good.
They also brought out a little birthday cake for my partner, which I thought was a lovely touch. Very impressed!

I absolutely adore Rockpool. The service here, in my experience, has always been top notch. The steak here is up there with the best I've ever had - quality meat, respected and cooked medium rare to perfection. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable and it's always a great night out here.

Food is excellent. Waiter/ waitress have great knowledge of food and wine. I wish we get a basket of bread instead of a slice of bread and have to keep asking them to add more bread onto our plate, considering the $$$ we pay.

Steak was cook medium well as requested. Most other restaurants would either under cook or overcook meat.

Wine was excellent.

place was a bit too crowded. We went there on the weekend, busy as anything. The waiter forgot to top up the wine and have to grab their attention.

Perhaps trying to go there when it is not too busy

Went for lunch and tried the Wagyu burger of the bar menu because it was recommended and it was delicious. The atmosphere and vibe is also really nice.

Second time in Rockpool and have to admit, we weren't disappointed. Chilli mussels and charcuterie board for entrées were amazing, especially delicate but flavoursome sauce the mussels were cooked in. Duck breast for main, cooked great, although crispy skin would be an improvement. Lamb chops very tasty. Mac and cheese, take it or leave it, not much flavour in it but the corn purée surprisingly amazing! Petit fours hmmm I could probably get them in many other places, not very memorable. Service great and professional, our waiter was smiley and cheerful but knowledgable at the same time. We left happy and very full:) will be back

Went on a weeknight around 9:45.
The boy wanted a steak, and after being told by a number of steak houses around the Melbourne CBD, that the kitchen had just taken final orders (time was 9:30 then) we were extremely glad that Rockpool assured us they were genuinely "open till late" and kitchen would be at our service.
We had some scallops, a rib eye steak on the bone, and a few vegetable sides including the wagyu fat roasted potatoes, st john carrots and raddichio salad.
Everything was delicious. Perfectly balanced in terms of flavours and textures. The wagyu fat roasted potatoes are a must try!
The staff and ambience is lovely. A really reliable place for a delicious and elegant evening out.

Food is the best I have had - service is incredible as you would expect for the price but well worth it.
