I went here to celebrate my brother's birthday (his choice). Everything we ordered from the wine, the sashimi, prawn tortellini, the steak, the mac n cheese, onion rings, choc orange mousse cake (which was pre ordered) was incredible. The taste & quality of the food was just beautiful, the service very professional, the decor, atmosphere, wine which they recommended all was just dvine.
I would highly recommend anyone to dine at rockpool if you want a very good, memorable, high quality dining experience.

I only have dined in Rockpool Bar and Grill once.. All i could say from what i have experience was .. AMAZING!

I dined there for a special occasion.. I have booked a table for 4 like a week before the actual date.

On the day, Once we stepped into the restaurant; the staff greeted us with a warm smile (very welcomed) and show us our table... The food menu and the drink list were good.

So, we all ordered steaks .. and it came out as we asked.. we satisfied with the food and service..

EXCEPTIONAL FOOD AND VERY GOOD SERVICE

Famous for its chef and its name. Service is excellent. However over-priced for its steak and some common food. The side dishes were not up to standard and expensive (I could even cook better than that). Desserts were great.
Needs to improve on the pricing and food quality.

I had the most marvellous dining experience here. The whole package is wonderful, exemplary service (almost too many service staff attend to you ...), respectful and very courteous staff who are flexible, discreet and totally great.

They serve the most exquisite food with wonderful flavours, marvellous ingredients and a very Very enjoyable ambience. That is marvellously achieved, even though the restaurant is sizeable, you don't actually notice that there are probably 100 people and a very busy kitchen around you. It's just wonderful.

My dinner consisted of Grilled Whiting fillets, hand-cut salad (ingredients are brought to your table after they are cut, before they are tossed, so you can see their quality and variety) with mixed spiced peppers. My companion's dinner was a 300g steak with brussels sprouts. We then enjoyed chocolate profiteroles and chocolate mousse (respectively).

As it was my birthday, the service staff also brought out a surprise cupcake for me, with a candle to blow out, which was a lovely treat. Wine list was lovely also. Totally recommended.

Approximate cost: $40

I have always been a lover of Neil Perry, and I love Rockpool for it's grilled meats. I always get a Wagyu and my partener and I share a couple of sides. My favourite side dish (so far) is the baked potato and pumpkin with burnt butter and garlic yoghurt. Simple, you say....It is amazing!! The mac and cheese is what they are "famous" for, but i find it far too rich and would prefer my Brussel Sprouts :) Will continute to dine at Rockpool and reccomend it to all my meat and fish loving friends.

Approximate cost: $60

Neil Perry's restaurant is definitley a place to save for a special occassions as it's quite expensive. Exceptional quality meals and service. You'll enjoy this place it if you appreciate fine food (great choices if you're a meat lover). Beautiful decor & atmosphere.

Was able to get a table pretty easily at the bar area (don't think they take bookings there so go early). We got a couple of the Wagyu burgers, which was pretty damn delicious. It is slightly pricey though for a burger, but the atmosphere there is pretty nice and makes up for it.

Been here a few times now with my girlfriend. Fantastic environment with a great layout. The cocktail menu is also great. Little bit $$ but that is fair because of the quality of the produce they are using!

Only been here to have the bar menu, and usually off that the Wagu beef burger and chips which are fantastic! the home made tomato ketchup is also delicious. On the expensive end but it is no wonder why, fantastic location on southbank, great food and very extensive wine list. I'll continue to go to lunch here whenever I can!

Approximate cost: $20 minimum
