The best part about this is that it is 24 hours- very good to grab a bite after heading out, when there is very little to choose!
Unfortunately, the food often tastes quite old, and I have always gotten very slow service. I haven't gone often (sober-that's when you can taste the food!).

i enjoyed a turkey and cranberry with salad on a foccaicia roll-very delicious indeed!chocked full of filling.absolute value at $6.50.their display of food,fillings etc is fresh,clean and appetising.the female staff member who served me was smiley and courteous.you have the choice of sitting inside or courtyard,so i decided on this visit i'd sit in the sun outside,was pleasant with the pigeons mingling with the patrons feet!but they arent annoying.overall-i very much enjoyed my experience here.next time for a pie!!:)

This is the place to go if you're having a late one and need that midnight snack fix! Open 24/7, it's a popular spot on weekends with the crowds and for a good reason. The pastries are always tasty and the sweets are delicious!

Went here at 11pm at night with a bunch of friends. They were friendly and helpful, the food was still fresh and delicious. The coffee well made. Was so nice to sit and chat with friends in a welcoming place so late at night.

The beauty of this bakehouse is that it is opens 24 hours a day and bakes on the premises. The pastries are very good, the curry pies okay (not as good as it looked.) Friendly service.

Being open 24 hours a day is very helpful to uni-students and shift workers. I've always found the coffee to be warm and food to be fresh. Plenty of seating both indoors and out means you'll never be left scanning the room for a place to sit.
Definitely better value than most surrounding establishments.

Yum! this is a great bakery for all things sweet and savoury! its open 24 hours too with is so great! they have the yummiest food and even have great options for vegetarians too, the pies are so yummy too its all great i highly recommend this bakery.

We called in late one afternoon after shopping in the area and found the variety of food on offer was great. There are plenty of tables inside and out.
I had a spinach and fetta roll which was delicious and a very generous size.

I can imaging with the 24 hr trading it would be very popular late night on weekends.

This bakery is popular for 2 reasons. First it's open 24 hrs so it's really popular as a late night snack and gets a lot of people from the Salamanca bars. The other reason is it's award winning pies.
Personally I love their ham or salami foccacias. The bread is so fresh and fillings are delicious.
There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, and they have a few good highchairs available.

The best thing about the Salamanca bakehouse is that it is open 24 hours and perfect for the hungry student up studying late! I have eaten some good food here and they make great cake things. It's just convenient to have a business open all hours in case you need something.
