My go to restaurant for pizzas and pastas. Love the mexicana pizza and penne alla pana (chicken pasta in cream sauce). I have been a regular for many years and have always been served well. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors but can get busy over weekends or special days. Food quality is superb as well as the service. Pricing I personally find ridiculously high and I do hope they improve.

Hands down, the best Italian pizza's in Adelaide. Beautiful pizza, not too greasy, perfect base! If you like a real Italian pizza this is the place to go. They don't deliver to my area so I make a point of planning to drop through the city to get San Giorgio's from time to time. Would highly recommend.

Great late night pizza joint. Have come in here plenty of times for a late night night feast after partying on Rundle at. Also do one of the latest delivery hours in Adelaide

Found the pizzas to be ok, but customer service was not!

San Giorgio is probably a place I am reluctant to try again. My most recent experience was disappointing with both our meals and service.

There was a group of us so we ordered some pizzas to share between us as well as some garlic bread. Firstly, we waited 30 minutes and then received the garlic bread which was ok, but as for the pizzas that was another 30 minutes. When they did arrive, 2 were not the pizzas we ordered and 1 was missing, apparently they gave it to the wrong table. You would think they would at least apologise, but no, of course they didn't. When we finally received our pizzas we had lost our appetite, but what we did try was average. Compared to my previous meals here, this was very disappointing.

I have found the quality and service varies each time I go here, so I believe this will be my last. My rating is based on all my visits here.

I don't mind this place every once in a while. And when I do go, it's actually quite a change. It's nice and yummy and has a good atmosphere.
The people have a nice demeanor and when the food comes out, it's classic Italy on a plate. Well done to the team there and let's have another round!

I don't share negative reviews lightly. Generally, I like to point out the positives as well as the negatives. And every experience is at least somewhat subjective!

So I have to tell you; I've eaten at SG's a few times and enjoyed my experiences up until recently. I don't think people should stop eating at SGs if they like it!

But recently I decided to order a delivery of their pasta, with some salad. The salad arrived and it was basically lettuce with a lot of feta cheese, soaked in way too much balsamic vinegar. We found a few strips of capsicum and slices of tomato hiding in the 'salad'. Confusing, because the in-store quality is generally fine.

Then, the pasta: I love nepolitan with beef ravioli; but who in their right mind would order beef bolognaise with beef ravioli...

That's what they delivered to us though; bolognaise and ravioli. The ravioli was super overcooked and swimming in way too much sauce - greasy and gross!

I tried to call to arrange for a swap over for the right meal. I'd eaten some though, before I realised why it was so ridiculously meaty and intense.

I told them I had eaten some and was immediately treated with intense suspicion. I was told that San Giorgio's would send a driver out to swap it over, but that if I'd eaten too much of it, they might want to charge me.

The idea of getting into any kind of discussion at my house with a delivery driver about how much is too much to have eaten, of that revolting pasta, just made me so uncomfortable and frustrated. It was clear that they had no customer service training to deal with that sort of problem. Instead, I was treated like I was trying to cheat them out of a whole bowl of pasta!

I ended up eating leftovers for dinner instead.

Eat at SGs if you like it; I've eaten in-restaurant a few times and liked their food a lot. But please, don't ever order delivery - they don't do it very well!

Great service with great food. Pizza is amazing, chicken parmigiana is okay, but not the best. Spacious dining room with outside seating available. Opening hours are great. Prices are reasonable.

Approximate cost: $20.00

Top quality food, but the service lacks a little, the staff are as welcoming and friendly as they could be. The restaurant inside is nice, but a little out of date and cluttered with picture frames.

Best pizzas I've had in a long time. Friendly service but may be a little of a wait though for food. Although it is worth the wait, sometimes can get frustrating. No bookings are essential but it's a better idea if you do.
