Cheapest movies in the perfect location. Doesn't always have ALL the latest movies, but will be screening a majority of the latest and greatest. Get the kids in for an IMAX experience and head to some of the surrounding restaurants and coffee shops. Its a great way to spend the day.

These cinemas are a great size, the pricing is good, candy bar is reasonably priced and the cinemas are quite nice. Seats are comfy. You can get a $5 parking voucher with you tickets

Cheapest movies in Brisbane and a great location. The dinner and movie deals are fantastic value with so many restaurants to choose from. Be very careful with not going overtime on the parking! We got back to the carpark with 15 minutes to spare and the queues to get out took half an hour. At the toll booth they charged us a ridiculous $30.

Cheap Cheap Cheap, finally movies that you can afford to take the whole family too.
Large cinemas, comfortable and right next to southbank. Try a movie and dinner followed by a stroll through southbank. Youll love it

These Cineama's are the best in the CBD for sure, especially for value. BUT... I've been treated like a disobedient child when unsure where to go. Instead of helpful and polite guidance we've been rudely and embarassing 'told off' and even been tsked at by door staff because we didn't hold our ticket the right way for him to take it. It's enough to put you off and pay extra to be treated with respect. Their sister cinema out at Balmoral however is just the opposite. The staff are FABULOUS and friendly and the old world opulent cinema atmosphere really transports you back in time. I live in the city and drive the extra mile to Balmoral for a better night out at the movies,

Two things I love about this cinema - cheap pricing and the huge 25-metre screen in cinema 1. You best book your tickets online to reserve yourself a seat for the blockbusters, otherwise you may not get a ticket if you show up on the day! You need to pay about 50cents more to reserve online but trust me, it's worth it.

Approximate cost: $8.50

The Southbank Cinemas are always my choice of movie theatres. The ticket and food price is cheaper than most and it is in a great location. Definitely my first choice based on price alone!

The cheapest cinemas in brisbane for uni students ( can be as cheap as $5 on tuesdays, unheard of anywhere else). Everything else is pretty standard but obvious drawcard is price and location, close to so many nice restuarants and bars on grey st

SouthBank Cineplex cinemas are always a dream. I love seeing the latest Blockbuster in Cinema 5 which has the the Imax 25m screen. The seets are a little small and not as comfortable as the other cinemas in the complex but the size of the screen is terrific. The other thing I like about this cinema is it is inexpensive and if you park at the cinema itself you can park their free for 4 hours, alternatively you can park at the south bank car park for 4 hours for $2. If you don't have a car then it is easily reached by bus or train. With ticketing it has this option of having an online wallet, buy ticket online, and buy them at the box office. My favourite is the online wallet, why?, because all I do is top it up with $20 when I need to and that credit stays there until I use it all up plus I only pay one transaction fee; if I was to buy tickets as I need them from the buyonline options I would pay a booking fee each time, with the wallet I only pay it once when I top up my wallet. When I want to see a movie that has just opened on the big screen, I book my tickets online which means I dont need to cue, I just take my home printed ticket to the Usher and wholla I am seeing the movie I want to see, I have not had to cue and if I really wanted to be decadent I could have even purchase my candy bar selections online too.

Approximate cost: $4-$8
