Staff were great - nothing was too much effort - friendly, genuine, happy - it was infectious. Feta mushrooms were not so good and could use some rework with design/flavour/presentation. Rump steak and Lamb chops - AMAZING!!!
There should be an option for more bread - best bread I've had in years.

Loved the surrounds and the friendly service was fantastic. Meal was well cooked and very well presented.

The waitresses were lovely and genuine. Justin is fantastic. He always cooks our meals with 'love' - he is an asset to the business. The fudge cake is delicious. Summerfields cab sav (Reserve) is far too expensive per bottle. This is our favourite restaurant in Ballarat.

I frequently dine at this restaurant. It is a little bit expensive but you do get what you pay for. The steak here is always delicious and the black pepper sauce is to die for. Katie the owner is fabulous and is always happy to hear any feedback negative or positive. (I've never had a negative experience there)

We visited Ballarat Steakhouse on the 17th August 2015 and as usual thoroughly enjoyed the experience and in particular a simple meal of steak and chips or sour cream potatoes.
We have very much enjoyed the consistent high standard of their presentation and the quality of the food presented.
For our umpteenth visit to this restaurant we still continue to rate Ballarat Steakhouse as Highly Recommended.
