Our hot water system died one Sat night and I called Rob the following day. He was able to ask a series of questions to determine what the scope of our job may be and then offer a few options and some rough price guides. He arrived when he said he would the following day to assess our job properly. We had to decide if the new system should be installed on the opposite side of the house to the broken one and what sub-floor pipework would be required to upgrade from a stand-alone unit to a continuous flow one. Rob gave us impartial advice and several options and then provided a written quote on the same day to help us decide. He then turned up and did the job when he said he would. His motto was to "do the job as well as he would in his own home" and my husband and I felt he lived up to this claim. Rob was easy to deal with, demonstrably reliable and a clear, relaxed communicator, thoroughly answering all of our questions and happily doing a few extra bits and pieces we needed at the same time (disconnect an old gas pipe etc). Rob demonstrated an 'old school' work ethic of punctuality and quality service and I would highly recommend him to others. We'll certainly use him again when needed.

I had an evaporative cooler breakdown in the middle of a heat wave - and in the middle of the campaign to sell my house! I rang around all the emergency service providers and where they even answered the phone they said they were booked out for weeks (even the supposedly 24 hour emergency providers).

Satewide were amazing - they were also extremely busy but managed to squeeze me into their also busy schedule. They kept me informed as they worked out when they could squeeze in visits to my house; they quickly diagnosed the problem and they fixed it within the week (ensuring my weekend inspection on a 40 degree day could go smoothly!). They were highly trustworthy - I left the key for them and signed the payment paperwork before they'd completed the work - and was comfortable they wouldn't overcharge (and they didn't). They even called on the evening the repairs were made to check that I was happy with the outcome.

He also identified and fixed several other problems and made suggestions for how I might address other related issues. Changed bathroom shower taps and laundry taps. Taps were over 20 years old and required much adapting. Nothing was too much trouble for Rob.

For our renovations, Rob did the gutting of the old kitchen, the connection of the new one, fixed all the taps in the house, and repaired our very old heater. He gave us great advice on many aspects of these jobs, and everything was perfectly done.
