Amazing! Prices are very easy to understand with colour coded plates and a sign about the colour's price on the wall. Prices are very reasonable ranging from 3.50-5.50 AUD. Food was delicious and there was so much choice! Also had tasty snacks like edamame and desserts. I would strongly recommend Sushi Train and you'll want to go a second time!

Approximate cost: $3.50-$5.50

This is just an average run of the mill sushi train. The food is ok but nothing special. Service is good but again just as you'd expect and nothing special. It is often busy though being the only real sushi train in newtown and I"m not sure it is worth a long wait. There are other japanese restaurants near by which are much better.

The only sushi train in Newtown. I love the convience of it all great for dining in or take way. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to help, if item you want is not the "train" the chef will make it fresh. There edamame great there served hot with salt. I recommend trying a bit of everything on the menu as most of it is great. The green tea ice ceam there smells like onion, however it does not affect the taste.

Approximate cost: $20.00

This is one of the best places to eat in Newtown. it's cheap and it's romantic and they make great sushi! This is the real McCoy and you'll look trendy sitting there at traditional "Sushi Bar".

Approximate cost: $20

Nice restaurant with lovely Japanese food. Its a novelty to be able to pick your food as it goes past. One thing I found disappointing were the handrolls for $4. There was hardly any rice in it, and I think it's better value to go down to the other sushi shop on King St if a sushi roll is all you're after. But, dining in is an enjoyable experience.

This is a great place. The food is delicious and there is lots of variety. Perhaps a little pricey, but its worth it. The atmosphere is lovely and its great to see the chefs prepare the food

Excellent restaurent. Real Japanese chefs. Great selection of sushis. Clean , not noisys, friendly staff. Very close to train station which makes commute very convenient. Being in Newton is a bonus

I think this is one of the better of the Sushi Train franchises, the quality and freshness is really good compared to some of the others I've been to. You might pay a bit more but it is definitely worth it. My favourites include the seared salmon and wagyu beef sushi and handroll of your choice for $4.
