I love everything about Swedish Tarts! I couldn't believe they make everything on the premises because it is so tiny! it can get a little squishy when it's busy (which is more and more often) but the food is just good home cooking with interesting twists and the cakes are AMAZING i love the custard ones and the scab cake! the staff are nice (and usually swedish) and it's just a treat for my family after a walk on the beach!

Our family and friends enjoyed a delicious Birthday celebration breakfast consisting of blueberry crepes, omelettes and flatbread meals. All members of the party thoroughly enjoyed their meals which were nicely presented and hot. The coffee was very nice, too, and the bottled water already on the table with glasses was appreciated. The cafe is quite a small and plain place with framed prints on the walls and books, magazines and newspapers to read. Well done to the hard working chef and assistants - you made our day feel special. Note: only cash is accepted (no credit cards).

Great simple fresh breakfast of scrambled eggs on toast with a little chilli and coriander. Great spot on Semaphore Rd and there are tables out the front if you like to bring your dog. As the name suggests they sell a wide selection of tarts and they are all amazing (if I haven't sampled all of them, I'd be pretty close). Definitely worth a look next time you're in Semaphore.

Gorgeous little cafe- have only been here once, but had the most amazing 3 egg omelette- didn't need to eat for the rest of the day! Great coffee too (you can get it served in a huge soup-style mug) and the sweets look divine! Will be back

My husband and I have only been once so far, but we really enjoyed it and will have to go back sometime. We both enjoyed our pies - his a meat one, and mine a lentil one - and we both shared a beautiful lemon tart. The coffee and chai tea was great too. They seem to have a wonderful selection of cakes and tarts etc. so we'll have to come back and try them sometime!

I discovered this little gem not long ago while visiting semaphore. My friend had the savory waffles and i had a Portuguese custard tart...mmmmmmmm both were faaaaantastic! since then we've been back a couple more times and tried a variety of different menu items... they have great breakfasts, pancakes etc although the savory pancake had way too much rocket in it and not enough of the other fillings. the tarts and cakes are to die for and you can also order some for special occasions. no issues with service.

This is a fabulous little Gem, I have been a regular since they opened. It can not be any better. The staff is friendly and quick at serving food and coffee. The cakes are just superb and everything is so delicious, all homemade. This is a great place in a great location – Thanks Swedish Tarts.

I've been a regular customer at Swedish Tarts since they opened and have always found it has a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere; just what I want on the weekend. They have a great selection of food and are veggie friendly too, even offering to make something specially for me when all the veggie pies had sold out.
