Rather a minor thing, fixing an OE :)
Opreator accidently put a SD card in optical drive (stupid).
The service was fantastic and prompt, and I was updated as repairs progressed. Have used a different repair service in past, but this beats then hands down. Will certainly return, but NEVER for the same problem, as it won't happen again. Highly recommend.

We are a small recruitment company, using only Macs. Annie and her team are incredibly helpful, friendly and responsive. They have set up our Mac server, including remote access so we can access from home. Anytime we have an issue (yes, Macs have issues, but its normally operator issues), they are so helpful and speak in language we can understand. Not "Geek speak". If you need Apple Support I would thoroughly recommend them. We have used them since 2007.
I just noticed I placed a review last year too. And for the comment below, they are a small business, and as such don't interrupt their customers by taking phone calls when they are helping a customer, but I have always found them very responsive in returning emails and calls.They have recently moved to a shop front office so easy to find now, and although they don't open until 10.00am they are often there well after 6.00pm, especially if they know you are coming.

I've used Takeittothemacs on several occasions now and find them very professional, polite and accommodating. Not sure about the previous reviewer's problems. Have never had any of those troubles myself...

My last repair involved some serious replacement and maintenance on my laptop (owing to a very unfortunate incident with a ladder) and the work was done promptly and within the quote. Paperwork and explanations very thorough, and followup to see all was OK. Highly recommended for your Mac repairs.

I've just had cause to use Takeittothemacs again, and I completely stick by my first review. Very good service, prompt, polite and work well done.

Got referred to this shop by Apple Support. Tried to phone them only to learn they don't bother answering their phone, just get you to leave a message and they will phone you back. Then learned they only open at 10am. By 10.15 there was still no sign out front and they were really hard to find - no sign inside either, had to wonder around the building til I found them. I finally get to talk to them and they act like they don't want to be bothered by customers, were pretty unprofessional and rude, and they tell me they're closing for 2 weeks as of tomorrow. Seem like a pretty slack outfit and I really am surprised they're still in business. I wasn't game to leave my computer with a company that was so badly organised so not sure how good they are on the actual repairs!

I've used Takeittothemacs for the past three years, both to service and support my Apple Macs used in our business and home. Annie and her team have always given fantastic service. Nothing is too much trouble for them. This week I experienced a disaster when my Macpro would not boot. Panic set in as I depend on this every day. Within minutes of contacting them (by SMS at 7.30am!) I received some tips on how to fix, and within a few of hours they had backed up my data and restored my Macbook Pro.
I can't imagine what the response would have been if I had purchased my MBPro from a large retailer! I'd no doubt be waiting weeks!! If you depend on your Mac and can't be without it, I thoroughly recommend you consider this company for your purchases and service.
Great friendly service and advice, fast, efficient, and not expensive.
