Absolutely disgusted with the service I’ve received from Target Australia and Target Online Customer Support.

Clearly states online that the items I’m ordering are available to pick up today. (It also shows when you need to wait a certain time frame). Get an email that a 1/3rd of my order (30-45mins later) is not available and I have to wait a week for it.

I need it in 2 days (it’s a gift) so I called the online store to ask if I can possibly just get a different size in the same item.

Nope, not their problem. They can’t do that. Just tell you to go in store and pay for it there again, and wait upto a week for a refund. Not only that. I have to drive in their twice if I want to wait for it to come?

They said they would let me know if they can approve my refund for the items they don’t have. Still haven’t heard anything.

Horrible service, horrible customer care department, useless webpage.

I’ll go to Targets competitors only from now on, at least they care about their customers.

Thanks for wasting my time and effort choosing things.

The postage was the only downfall in this experience, but reflects 100% on the postage service not Target itself - as it was dispatched the day after ordering.
Everything was packed very nicely in the box, just as I ordered. Lots of email communication to let me know the status of my order. There are some great bargains online in the clearance section, added with a additional discount from my email and free shipping. Love shopping from the comfort of my own chair!

I have used Target online a number of times now. In most cases, the goods were as described on their website. A few times, the goods looked a bit dirty. Only had to return it back to the store one time as I was buying it for as gift and it was too obviously dirty. The items take a number of weeks to arrive and Target keeps me informed via email and sms when the goods is ready for pickup at the store. There are some great bargain that you can't find in the store, but if you need it in a hurry, purchasing online is probably not the way to go unless you reside in Melbourne itself. Seeing how the despatch location comes out from Melbourne, I think the delay is in the transporting the goods to Perth.

Target online are fantastic and so convenient, i cant always get into town to get what i need but i can always buy it online and they have fantastic online clearance sections!

If the item is out of stock in store I can normally get it online. I often use the free store delivery and when I'm ready I can just go and pick it up or for a small fee I can get it delivered to my house. I also use the online layby. I recently cancelled my layby over the phone, the staff were great and it was done ASAP and my money was back on my card within 24hrs.

very good online shopping , be sure to try it...have had trouble with other companies but target was over all good . the staff were helpful in finding what I needed at the right price

i love online shopping but get annoyed when most sites don't have up to date information on their catalogs or products. i have found target is always up to date, whether it is currently in stock or if it is about to come in. their search engine is excellent allowing you to find exactly what you want.

Even better than the store, They have daily deals on things that are usually 40% an specific item. eg: "40% of womens underwear, childrens socks, cosmetics, etc."
The deals are disclosed on facebook the night before. I love it!

This was great last birthday that I had to buy for, I was able to do almost all my shopping at night from target online

Great online service, easy to use site & although i still like looking at the actual Target stores, the online store often has special offers & discounts that the physical stores don't have.
