I think they offer a good selection of ramen and other items but my fav is the pork gyoza as I am a gyoza addict. Fresh and well priced. I enjoy coming here.

There has been an explosion of Japanese noodle restaurants in Brisbane. These are the cheap snack Japan invented for the purpose of not starving to death at the end of WWII.

So my main disappointment with Taro's is the price. Noodles should be cheap and delicious, not a fancy thing. But still, this is a great restaurant that is a step up above other Japanese noodle places.

Great Experience.Authentic japanese Ramen and everything handmade and fresh. Gyoza dumplings are a must! Atmosphere could be better, but the food definately makes up for it.

Very disappointed with the quality of food. Ordered a cold ramen which cost me 17bucks with only plain noodles with one slice of bacon. The unprofessional couldnt even understand our order and request which made my day bad

Best ramen in Australia? Maybe its just because we can't get it here that I rate it over the Sydney ramen joints but it is certainly up there! Visited this place 3 times(lunch, dinner, lunch) while visiting Brisbane from Sydney for a few days. Great balance of flavours with the red ramen being a favourite. If you are having dinner there, call ahead and order the Banglow Pork Shabu-Shabu. Try the sweet tender pork in its natural glory by eating it straight after cooking it in the broth before you try it with the dipping sauces. A tip is to also a bit of the broth first to taste the transformation as it develops with each ingredient you put in to cook (pork, veges). Noodles will be served after for you to cook in the now fully developed soup! Only wish he would open a shop in Sydney!

Really delicious, probably my favourite ramen shop in Brisbane (now that Ajisen is gone). My fiance had the tonkotsu ramen & I had karaage curry as a lunch special. The better quality ingredients than most places was apparent if not by the taste (Hakataya would rival it here), then by not feeling all sluggish afterwards! The in-house-made noodles were particularly good, you could tell the difference. Definitely worth a visit!

Pretty tasty ramen, but I find it undercooked every time. I'm not too fond of the skinny ramen to begin with, and when they are undercooked they eat like toothpicks a little bit. Soup base is quite nice, but for 16 dollars I expect a little more.

We stumbled on this place by chance - it was a snadwich bar many years ago. But the food in here is great.

Traditional ramen - hand made moodles, slow cooked pork and stocks. It all adds up to some very very tasty food.

On saturdays they have a special with free extra toppings - I love getting extra challots and egg.

Authentic tasting Japanese ramen. Great atmosphere and the quality of the food is amazing. portion sizes were smallish but adequate. Prices reasonable, approx $15. Staff were very nice. Have been here numerous times and will continue to do so. Flavourings in the broth are superb.
