Jetty Rd is always changing. Came across this jewel about a month ago. Service was good and friendly and the morsels of tapas were just delish. Meatballs stuffed with cheese, patatas bravas, slow cooked pork belly, calamari... all great choices. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other menu items. Love that the front of the restaurant opens up onto the street. Great feel.

These meals sounds absolutely amazing. I love slow cooked meat, so I would love to visit this place for myself. The quality and service sounds great too.

Came here for a friends farewell. The menu looked promising so we were expecting to be well feed. We decided to go with the sharing platters. We went for the meat one as there was a few there that wasn't' a big fan of seafood.
Each platter was around 35ish to 45ish dollars. Was surprised that the platter was rather small esp for the price.
Atmosphere was great since its close to the beach.
Would I go there again? - No.
Didn't think the food there was that great and with that price I definitely would not be going there again.

This is a fantastic tapas locale and a great watering hole for afterwards. And it's located in a great place, the heart of Glenelg where you can pick and choose any place to go from here. Crowds of people also bring the atmosphere up a notch.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a waitress and shown to our table. This was followed up by the menus and consistent attention for drinks and orders, without being 'in your face'. It's hard to get this aspect of service right, so very well done to their wait staff.

It was tempting to order many of the items on the menu, and as a tapas bar, you are perhaps expected to sample everything. Still, order I did and enjoy them did I.
However, friends ordered the duck, and comparing the price and quantity of serve, it was very NOT worth it. This is probably one of the items that detracted my review from giving them the 5th star.

Otherwise, try and order the 25.00 litre sangria. Well, that's how they've written it on the menu...

My wife and I went to Tasca Viva last night with no great expectations as we had never been there before. However, from the moment that we entered, the service that was experienced was second to none, even though the place was humming ! The waiter who welcomed us also took our orders, after making some constructive suggestions, and delivered most of the meals to our table. We loved the Tapas concept and the various meals that we ordered were most enjoyable. We can't wait to make a return visit!

We had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. We sat outside which was really nice as there was music playing next door creating a great atmosphere and the service was great. We ordered a few different things off the menu and they were all very nice. We will definitely be going back. The Sangria was very nice too

We had a really fantastic meal here. The staff were fantastic so helpfull and friendly. My friend has an allergy to garlic and with most of the food on the menu containing garlic the waiter said that was no problem and took her back to meet the chef for a private consultation on what he could do with out garlic. She had an absolute feast. The food was gorgeous in no other restaurant would you get such service and people really bending over backwards to accommodate you. We loved it and well definitely be going back.

I went for dinner here with two of my friends. The menu is designed for sharing so we picked a few items from the menu to share - the waitress was very good at suggesting the quantities that we would need... unfortunately this was pretty much all she was good at.

Whilst quite pleasant the staff seem to be quite hopeless. My two friends got their drinks and I expected to get mine shortly after (I had ordered a pineapple juice so it's not like it was difficult). After waiting 10 minutes, I asked about my drink and was told that she had forgot and would get it to me asap. 15 minutes later, I finally got my drink (after about half an hour from the time I ordered it). I asked for water for the table at the very beginning - this didn't arrive until I asked for it another five times and took about an hour to finally arrive.

The food was fine. It wasn't anything to rave about however it wasn't bad either. It was just okay.

We asked for the bill... and then had to wait at least 20 minutes before we recieved it. I was close to just walking away without paying as it seemed that they weren't interested in getting our money!

I've spoken to others who have been who have made the same comments about the slow service.

To be honest, the food wasn't good enough for me to forget about the bad service and I will not be going back anytime soon.
