A visit to Leura is not complete until you make a pit stop at The Candy Store. The Candy Store reminds me of when I was a child because they sell so much lollies and chocolate that I used to eat as child. At one time they sold chocolate sticks (aka chocolate cigarettes)

This candy store is a sweets lover's kind of heaven, there is so many different kinds of sweets, chocolates and international grocery items for sale. I love that you can buy old fashion lollies that I used to eat as a child.

Love going to this shop, brings back memories of my childhood with the English "Sweets", and also the old Lolly shops in Australia where you could get 'a pennyworth' of your favourites.

A maze of eye boggling sugar. Tiny, cramped and no room for a wheelchair or a stick. Bought strawberry cream suckers not jubes, marshmellow chocolate little human shapes for older toothless mouths and it came to $7.50 for 200 grams all up. I love this store but surely the atmosphere could be kept with some creative thinking by getting a bigger space for all the wandering dreaming sugarholics.

Really excitied when we visited this local store then I got to the counter, 2 young staff members were fighting over who would serve , product i had chosen had been labelled wrong price wise and counterstaff were lost as to what to do, it seemed understaffed being it was school holidays and the amount of people going through it could have been managed better ....

Good store for a variety of lollies however can get very crowded on weekends. Kids loved it and some of the lollies brought back memories of childhood.

Candy heaven for kids! When you walk in, you see candies everywhere - all different kinds, all around you. But the prices are a bit higher than what I would expect.

when you walk into this amazing place your mouth starts drooling in excitement. the walls are covered from top to toe in delicious sweets of every kind. the shop is pricey but is impossible to walk past without buying something

It's a mouth watering shop, bottles of sweets and chocolates of all types line the walls, in the old style of candy shops. Its a good quick, get-out-and-stretch-the-legs stop where you'll find plenty to keep the kids quiet in the back. Although, when I was there the people tending to the cash registers were arguing the whole time.
