The Fitter

We used The Fitter from previous positive reviews on this website. I had blinds and plantation shutters installed by Tony in 2019 and Alan in 2015 from The Fitter. Never had any problems with any of them and quality was very high.
Recommended.

Alan and his team are professional, friendly and courteous. We had outdoor blinds installed and they are fabulous. Alan is careful and he cares. We have used many trades during our renovation and we would not hesitate to recommend Alan or use his services again.

After an extensive home renovation and dealing with numerous tradies Alan is the only one whose workmanship I could not fault. It has been a year since Alan and his team fitted our plantation shutters and thinking about the experience still makes me smile. Alan's professionalism and attention to detail made everything so easy. The shutters are excellent quality and were fitted efficiently and with precision. I am very happy with the job on my roller blinds!!! We had installed the double roller blinds in the living room and single roller blinds in both bedrooms. From the beginning Alan, was very easy to deal with, I was not too sure on the best options and types of blinds and materials which would fit my apartment and Alan explained everything and helped me make the final decision. I feel like the process to get my new blinds went really smooth, without any drama, as when I was doing a lot of research on choosing the right company to do the blinds for me, the reviews of competitor companies were all the same across the web - poor service. The Fitter were the only once with great reviews on excellent service and I am happy I went with these guys. Thank you, we love our blinds!!!

Fantastic experience. The whole process from ordering to fitting took less than 3 weeks. Alan is very easy to work with. The blinds (screen and blockout) looked fantastic, measured perfectly and installed in under 2 hours. Highly recommended.

First contact was with Alan,explained I was having trouble with my canvas awning,hoping it could be repaired, thought I might be told, forget it too old! or you need new ones. Don't worry I'll send someone round to have a look. Brad arrived sorted the problem minimum of fuss came back next day with the parts, job done! What astounded me was that it was a small job hardly worth their time really, but this is a company that has customer service finessed...Thanks guys especially Brad who I think went above and beyond. Alan installed Ziptrak Blinds for my Patio deck area approx 3x9m. Quality and value is very good, what I like about the entire experience is the service and the prompt replies. I also had a custom made gable mesh installed on the patio gable as a air vent, it was initially made from the factory the incorrect size (factory sizing fault), Alan made sure it was corrected quickly and came back to install as soon as he could. I did feel sorry for Alan, as this factory mistake run around was at his own time and cost. I understand why he has so many 5 star ratings in WOMO (that is why I decided to choose him to do the work). I would be recommending The Fitter to friends and family who come over and ask about the patio now turned sunroom thanks to Alan.

New blinds for a large East facing area of windows. Courteous, attention to detail, and arrived on time. Gave good advice re light filtering blinds, and need to be aware that choosing a darker colour for the east facing windows would minimise glare factor. Kept me informed re blind delivery time. Installed blinds. Happy to return if any problems arose: none did. Definitely worth getting Alan to quote and complete the work.

Once he came to measure up, I knew that he knew everything there was to know about shutters and that's the type of person I want to give my business to. I had custom timber blinds made for my windows. I chose the basswood over the PVC and aluminium. Quality was great, and I liked his attention to detail. Installation of (i) block out blinds and (ii) wooden/pvc shutters to 4 double windows in our house.

Alan was very polite and very knowledgeable about the products. We were very impressed with his focus on the quality of the production and the quality of the installation. One of the block-out blinds had been manufactured to a size that was slightly off. Alan took it away and had it re-sized to ensure that it was 100%. Nice work.

We recently had some Roman blinds installed by Alan and as the reviews say here I can confirm that he is both professional and courteous in his approach. The blinds were very well installed and Alan provided great suggestions on how he could make the best of a difficult installation (bay window with a slightly sloping ceiling.

After installation we had an issue with the lengths of one set of blinds and Alan came back and fixed the issue very quickly.

I would highly recommend Alan to anyone looking for an installer.

We called Alan based on his reviews on womo.com.au - and we are really happy that we did. We recently bought a house and wanted all the existing curtains replaced. We a had about 45 blinds (mixture of single and double roller blinds) installed by Alan - a massive job!

Alan was the most competitive in price by far and made sure that each individual window was fitted the most efficient way. He clearly explained what options we had from which fabric to use according to budget, to how the roller blind should roll to minimize the amount of sun light coming in on summer days.

He was always courteous over the phone and in person and cleaned up after himself after the job was done. We are so pleased with result that our new house is beginning to feel like home. We highly recommend Alan, so much so that we have recommended him to our family and friends :)
