Every time i have gone out shopping for big ticket items, i always look around. The Good Guys always seem to beat any price. Once you have managed to get a staff member (which can be hard) the service from them is 2nd to none.

Fantastic value and prices. we have got almost everything in the house from here and we really appreciate the very helpful and friendly staff, who take the time to chat to us about what we need even though the prices are very reasonable

I like the way they have lots of varieties and good brands of their products. Also their slash down prices. We bought our first electric blender and our digital TV box with a great discount deal.

Recently have purchased numerous items from Good Guys as we are extending/renovating our house. Yes I agree with everyone that it is hard to grab a salesman, but I guess that they are doing something right as the store is always jam packed with customers. On the positive the salesman will spend with you as long as it takes to find what you need. They have great knowledge about the items they are selling and are good with making suggestions as to what will best suit your needs.
Before I go, I find the item that I want on the internet at the best price possible. I then ring Good Guys in Bayswater and they match if not beat that price. Look for Salesman Tom on the weekends. He is an older chap and not one of these brash young salesman that you come across in other stores. Tom has always given us good information and a great deal.

We bought Kitchen appliances from this store and we're quite satisfied with the products, so far. The service, sales person and the transaction were all very satisfactory.

Needed at TV with a headphone socket facility in the old Analogue rage around the $200.00 price. Took one TV home and to my surprise no headphone socket. One good thing was their return policy. Then checked with salesman again and none of TV's in my price range with headphone socket in stock. Salesman to check availability.
One week later no call back from The Good Guys. Decided to take the remaining TV off the shelf as still no response from their supplier either.
Price given on off shelf product was good. Phoning store is useless unless you want to waste your own time. Even reception phone answering is very slow.
Never seem to have enough staff on the floor.

There were not enough staff that were working at the time to provide quick service for most customers. However the staff i encountered were all friendly enough when you ask for service and ask questions about specific prices of goods because not all goods had prices on them .

Approximate cost: $50

Service was good once you were able to get a salesman, which was a task in itself. Asked the specific question of the staff member is this the best possible price you can do, to which the reply was yes and got the same product 5% cheaper at a competitor store. Is their best price what they think we will pay or are they just trying it on. I am talking on an item worth$1,600.00

When you finally get attended to to service is good and staff seem well informed and take time to ensure you have neccessary info to make a good decision on what product will best suit your needs. The down side is you may need to wait a while especially on weekends.

Approximate cost: $320.00
