Bunch of incompetent BS artists that have no idea how to run a business or deal with customers.

Ordered an item over 2 months ago and was told It would arrive in 2 weeks.
I Visited the store 3 times over a month to ask where my order was after the two weeks had passed with no one having a clue on its ETA.
I also ensured every visit i went in that they had the correct delivery address.

2 months later the item finally arrives in stock and they schedule the delivery and with no surprise they attempt to deliver it to an old incorrect address/suburb when i clearly stated each time the new delivery address.

I waste my whole day waiting around for the delivery that now i am being told has to be rescheduled due to their incompetency.

A lot of people have to move a lot of things around and take time off to be able to take a day off to receive important deliveries and to deal with this is infuriating.
Contacted them multiple times today only to be told i'll be called back yet no response.

Do yourself a favour and avoid these clowns at all costs.

After many years and many thousands of dollars The good Guys Bayswater have sold me my last purchase.
Having to replace my clothes dryer I went down to the Bayswater store to purchase my product.
I chose the same brand and after explaining to the sales guy I needed it wall mounted and brought the same brand as previous thinking and hoping the wall mounts were the same.
I paid for the product and $74 extra for delivery and installation which I asked for.
Two days prior to delivery I had a confirmation text with assurance that I would be informed of delivery time no later than the morning of delivery.
After waiting all day on the pre arrangement delivery day and 2 phone calls to the store it finally arrived. After asking the delivery man regarding putting the replacement dryer on the wall I was informed that was not part of the $74 fee. He proceeded to remove my old dryer of the wall and I was left with a dryer stuck on my laundry bench.
Words cannot describe how angry and dissatisfied I am it has cost me $74 for The good guys to drive my dryer 1.5 kms to my house. I could have organised that what I needed was for it to be installed on the wall ( measurements same).
I have always supported my local area but on checking E&S trading I found the same product same price but with FREE DELIVERY. So essentially I paid an extra $74 for nothing I would have rather paid that towards the actual installation on the wall.
I know now that I will be shopping at E&S trading from now on.

Four months ago, my wife bought a new appliance from The Good Guys Bayswater store, and their delivery driver damaged the front door while bringing it in. The store keeps fobbing my wife off to their delivery contractor (even though our contract is with The Good Guys, not the delivery contractor, so it's the legal responsibility of the store to handle everything except arranging the day and time for the repair to be done). The delivery contractor keeps fobbing my wife off to the delivery driver, who fobs her off to a mate of his who promises to come to do the work, but never shows up (and lies about showing up, when he hasn't, because my wife has always been at home when he has said he called in)! It's a whole chain of fob-offs! This has been going on for LONG ENOUGH! They obviously think that they'll get away without fixing the door if they keep fobbing my wife off. I suspect that they think that since she's from overseas that she doesn't know her legal rights, but they've picked on the wrong person this time! I know our rights as the customer, and their responsibilities as the seller!

It's time to go to VCAT and get the law to ream the bunch of mongrels!

Avoid this store like the plague!

Went to purchase a LG MS2596OS microwave 25/11/2020
This was to replace microwave same model (0nly 9 months old) which had issues August this year,, however could not get any sense about return for warranty and or repair. Keep blaming the virus

Looked at display could not find one
Tried to get someone to assist. Two people said I will come back
The lady at computer terminal Checked and said none in stock. Gave me a price which was 31% more than what I paid last November. Asked why the prices had increased so dramatically was told due to increase in shipping cost,, think she lost interest when I mentioned that shipping cost have not increase that much and also the exchange rate is currently more favorable She then said had the Black model MS2596OB in stock and then asked if had one on display and where,, she said yes on display and waved toward the area that I had already been looking in.. of course it was not there... then finally got some one to assist.. he was helpful

Will buy on line from now on.. But not from Good Guys

On Monday 28th October 2019 I purchased a Samsung U28E590D 28" 4K UHD Monitor for $100 from them in Bayswater then they posted it to me and I received it on Wednesday 30th October 2019. The reason I got this was so I can watch 4K Movies with my MacBook Pro. The staff were kind to me and the service was amazing because they gave me an excellent bargain.

A friend asked me to help her buy a laptop so i called in to the Good Guys (and a couple of other places) to check out what was available. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the sales people in the computer area actually knew about the computers they were selling. I'd been to some department stores where the sales people just sell - but they don't have product information. I was able to get some helpful hints about what to look for and the current pricing.
The next week I took my friend to buy the laptop and we saw another sales person - and again he had the product knowledge, could answer all our questions about virus checking software, business applications etc - and also knocked several dollars off the price! Bonus!
Would certainly recommend the computer section of this store.

Looking for a vacuum cleaner. Sales lady knew the products very well & was able to demonstrate some models for me, telling me the pros & cons of each brand. She was extremely helpful. We made a choice of vacuum, which was on sale & given a further discount. We purchased a food blender also, same sales lady, explained different brands very well. Made our choice & given discount. Great customer service. Large sore, everything easy to find.

Great service. The first thing I purchased from them appx 7yrs ago was a washing machine. When it arrived it had a small dent in front. I spoke to the Manager who was fantastic and had no hesitation in offering me either cash back or a new one delivered free. I have been dealing with them since. I always get great service and tech advice as well as money off. It's true: Even if you pay by Debit or Eftpos, they still regard that as cash and you will get a discount on any itme big or small.

I like to visit the Good Guys when I am looking for a particular item or when there is a Sale on. We have bought plenty of things from this store.

Also, for every $25 you spend in store - If your School is registered for Bayswater Bucks, then mention that you want to give it to that particular school and then your School can get rewards. Our School uses these Bucks for various funding raising raffles for prizes. We also buy other items from the bucks for various events happening throughout the year in our School.

So thank you Bayswater Good Guys for providing us with lots of Bayswater Bucks to buy fantastic things!!

I purchased a cd player and despite it working after purchase, when I went to use it the next day, for whatever reason, it had ceased to function. I rang the Good Guys Bayswater and explained the situation and also that I needed it for a class I was teaching that night. The salesman was fantastic and managed to find me a replacement in time for that night's class. When I arrived at the shop with the faulty player, I found that I was expected and the service provided was way beyond my expectations. I have shopped there ever since.
