Having chronic hip and back pain for the last two years I had been on a treadmill of ineffective treatment through conventional medical methods. A year ago I had a steroid injection(a very unpleasant experience) which provided me with 6 months of short lived relief. Again my left hip constantly ached and I had pain running through my left leg. My leg started to feel numb/dead and I was experiencing pins and needles. I saw a rheumatologist(as I also have arthritis) but arthritis was ruled out as the cause.I saw a neurologist who I will not name here as his manner was dismissive and condescending. I felt belittled and it was implied that the problem was all in my head.

I was at the point of giving up on finding any relief or cure so I changed my G.P and my new doctor sent me off for an unltasound on my hip and back. In the meanwhile my daughter recommended that I go see Lenka Persi who is a Shiastu therapist. Lenka took my history and then started to work on my hip and back. All it has taken is two sessions with Lenka for my hip and back to improve dramatically. I feel life returning to my left leg and the pain melting away. The Shiatsu therapy that she does on me is a series of stretching and gentle pressure points. In these two sessions, Lenka has reversed what conventional medicine could not fix in two years. I am so overwhelmed with the difference that Lenka has made to my health in this short space of time, that I will never be able to thank her enough. Lenka believed in my pain and knew through touch exactly where in my body to work. So in a nutshell I am now free from pain and free to be able to start living my life again......And on a final note, what did the ultrasound reveal? Sciatica in L5 and a bulging disc. Nice to know that it wasn't all in my head.

Beyond brilliant. The meals here are sublime. Generally I order the Tey's Gold eye fillet. It is perfect everytime. My partner does not eat red meat so we love that they also have a fish of the day. There are special little touches at this restaurant. You get a complimentary serving of olives, olive oil and dipping bread. The wait staff clean the crumbs off your table between courses. My partner tells me that the tiramisu is the best in Melbourne, whereas I think that the vanilla creme brulee is divine. The owner Michael is very friendly and makes you feel very welcome. This restaurant is held in high regard by both my partner and I.....the food is just that good!

Having read some previous reviews, I would tend to agree with the reviewers. Bar Bosh is hit and miss. However what I have learnt from my many dining forays to Bar Bosh is that you have to know what food to order. There are foods there that I avoid because they just don't do them well. I have had the Linguine with chicken pieces in a soy sauce. Having eaten it once I found the soy sauce overwhelming. I have also had the fish and chips which were ordinary. Therefore I am basing this review on the things that I know they do well and I have actually learnt to make sure I order them. Love the fattoush salad. I also like the Morrocan style garlic prawns. I would also recommend the field mushroom Turkish pizza. I also like the hot salami pizza. These are the things that I know that they do well so I make sure that I order them.

We visited this restaurant with a voucher. Generally I am a bit dubious of using vouchers, but this restaurant had great reviews. Must say that the food was very good. For mains we had baby snapper fillet with smoked prawn bisque, which my partner thoroughly enjoyed. I had the black Angus eye fillet with roasted vegetables. My baby carrots were divine but my baby roast potato was underdone. My partner finished off with a tiramisu which he thoroughly enjoyed. The only negative that on the night the we ate it was a near empty restaurant, therefore customers could have been nicely spread out. Instead we were packed tightly into a corner section of the restaurant with five other couples. The gap between these tables was a person width wide so it meant that we were privy to other diners conversations as they were privy to ours. I know for ease of service it makes sense to seat your patrons close together, but from a customer perspective it would have enhanced the ambiance if we had a bit of space between tables.

Good place to stop for lunch while shopping at Knox. Had the express lunch of the lamb gyros plate. This cost $15 and was very tasty. Came with an authentic tzatziki sauce and a small side salad. Previously have eaten the spanakopita which is divine. Finished off with a rice pudding for desert which was very tasty.

Stopped by for a coffee and cake. It is nice to sit in the courtyard but the music was pumping and it was kind of a dance mix. The coffee was okay. The best part of the passionfruit sponge was the passionfruit icing. It is nice simple cafe fare.

Great coffee, cool atmosphere and fantastic food. Grazed on chickpea salad and tempura vegetables. They were delicious. Small kitchen that produces awesome food. This is my cafe of choice when hanging out in grungy Fitzroy. Love the vibe.

Sublime. Stunning meal and very attentive service. Each aspect of the meal was a highlight. The meal was so outstanding the first night that we returned a second night.
Make sure however you ring and make a booking as the restaurant is generally open during the colder months for guests that are staying on the property.

I would recommend this place for coffee easily. The coffee was great and we were nice and cosy on the outdoor deck. The coffee was a great start so we were really looking forward to enjoying the soup special which was leek and potato soup.
My companion and I both left the soup unfinished. It was over salted to the point that it was uncomfortable to eat.
The soup was priced at $9.50

Recently have purchased numerous items from Good Guys as we are extending/renovating our house. Yes I agree with everyone that it is hard to grab a salesman, but I guess that they are doing something right as the store is always jam packed with customers. On the positive the salesman will spend with you as long as it takes to find what you need. They have great knowledge about the items they are selling and are good with making suggestions as to what will best suit your needs.
Before I go, I find the item that I want on the internet at the best price possible. I then ring Good Guys in Bayswater and they match if not beat that price. Look for Salesman Tom on the weekends. He is an older chap and not one of these brash young salesman that you come across in other stores. Tom has always given us good information and a great deal.
