Went there for the second time last night. The food was good with very generous servings. The place was packed which is probably why we had to wait a little bit for our meals but the service was otherwise very good.

Ah, the memories.
Last time I came here, I had quail, which was delectable and a little bit finicky with all the bones.
This time I took the smarter option and just had the meat on a stick. Well cooked, well seasoned and served with a smile.
Well done guys

Do not like the sound of the bones so I think just having the meat is a good idea

Great service and a great atmosphere. The place always seems to be buzzing with activity making it feel vibrant and alive. The food is great. Particularly love the lamb souvlaki, although the mixed platters, either meat or seafood are also delicious. They have a good wine list and their homemade greek cakes are impossible to resist.

I always struggle going to Greek restaurants as I want things the way my Mama / Yiayia / Theia made them, but the food here really is great. It is hard to pay that much for a serve of moussaka when I could make a tray of it but their versions are very authentic.

I had lunch here with my work colleagues and the food and service was fabulous. We ended up ordering a banquet type meal and everyone around the table was impressed with the food. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for lunch, dinner or just for a good coffee!

Love the Greek on Halifax!

Went their last August to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was a rainy day and it wasn't very easy to find a car park on Halifax st. We had to walk for 2 mins to get to the restaurant and was all wet when we got there. The food was really good. I ordered a calamari dish as main and a pancake dish as desert. The calamari was ok, good quantity, and the side salad was really tasty. The pancake was a bit too sweet for my liking. It's a bit pricy but not out rages. The waitress sang the happy birthday song for my friend, which was very nice.

Approximate cost: $25

Have been to The Greek twice now and it gets better each time. The food is amazing and the service was top notch, they couldn't have been more helpful. If you are looking for great Greek food this is the place for you. Just make sure you book ahead of time as they are popular! I'd recommend the pickled octopus from the Mezze menu, best I've ever eaten and the desserts are wonderful which makes it very hard to pick just one!

This one's a mixed bag!
The dining was cheaper than other fine dining greek restaurants, and the service was KIND of good, although there were two kinds of dolmades on the menu, the regular vine leaf kind and the eggplant and cheese kind, and when we ordered them, rather than ask us which ones we wanted, the waiter chose the wrong ones for us and then got defensive and scolded us when we complained. Luckily they were still delicious!

A whole bunch of mezze did the whole table, the sausage, salads and cheeses were mind blowing. The Squid was sub-par and the serves could have been bigger, but for the price if they had told us what to expect we could have ordered more.

The only bad point was when we wanted to order more drinks and the wait staff were a bit busy having their own drinks! But there is something so traditional about that, that it added to the authenticity of the experience.

A little more help navigating the menu would have made this an unforgettable eperience!

I will definitely go again and make my mind up.

Favourite Greek restaurant in Adelaide. Good quality, fresh, delicious food. Platters are a great option. Have not had a bad meal here and I have been several times. The loukoumathes (Greek donuts) are divine!
