One of the best cafes I've been to around South Brisbane. The atmosphere is incredible, vintage settings plus a lovely garden out the back. I came here for lunch with work friends and although it costs a little more than other places, the quality, uniqueness and taste of the food is worth a lot more than you pay. The staff are very friendly and quite socialable. A great place!

This place has stood the test of time. Their food is always sensational, a little expensive but worth every cent. Service is very good. And unlike many other places, when they make a mistake they fix it properly by comping. It's a beautifully presented restaurant too with indoor and outdoor dining. I always walk away happy from here!

The best thing about this place is definitely the breakfasts. Lunches and dinners are a little pricey and not all that worth it given the quality of restaurants of other nearby restaurants. The staff are perfecto and it's a very lovely place to take brekky easy on the weekends. Worth the line up out the front!

The Gunshop used to be a real West End icon but have gone downhill significantly in the last few years.
Always either crowded or empty, the meals don't have the same flavour they used to, and there area better and cheaper meals available in other cafes within a few blocks.
I've been disappointed the last few times I've been there.

Food was great quality and the atmosphere is good. Service was a little slow though and the prices were a little high

This place always looks busy, I always wondered if it was any good.

Love going here for breakfast. Place has a great atmosphere. Appears to be quite small from the outside, but is not cramped inside. Excellent food.

I have had both breakfast and dinner at this cafe and have enjoyed the food on both occasions. I did prefer it for breakfast however. It is a popular little cafe and I would highly recommend their eggs benedict.

Excellent breakfast but be prepared to wait a little while. Servings are huge and they pump it through fairly quickly. A good morning out in a good part of Brisbane. Lots of shops around that you can have a look at after as well

I think this cafe is over rated. I have been here several times now and yes the food has been good but the staff can be very temperamental and the sitting a little tight. It is always busy and can be difficult getting a table. It is definitely an experience, but what kind, I shall let you make up your mind.

It's worth the effort on a weekend to brave the crowds and score a table for breakfast. Always delicious and fresh. I've had some of the best scrambled eggs here, served with pesto and lemon wedges. Although famous for their breakfasts, dinner is just as satisfying and less crowded.
