Perhaps it never really that wise to order from a shop at the back end of a shift. Perhaps you should never order a burger from a fish and chip shop. Perhaps its too much to expect a smile when you order. Couldn't rate this experience very highly in comparison to similar businesses.
Anice little cafe in the Woolworths Shopping Centre off Turbot Street. Great for coffee and a nice meal. Can be a bit noisy out on the balcony if you are going there for a business chat.
I have been here several times and the service is alway sgreat and the food is good. Question is, does Hogs Breath live up to the hype? almost for me.
Big selection on show at this store, biggest positive was that the staff were very friendly and the service I received was really helpful. Made my choice very easy.
KMart stores are identical I suppose? the one ot Garden City is big and has loads of stuff and the staff are pretty friendly and helpful if you can find them.
I shop here a fair bit for sports gear and shoes. The service can be great sometimes, but more often than not the staff seem a bit under trained. The Upper Mount Gravatt store probably have the best range of any of the stores in the area.
We stay here once a year. It is great family accomodation in a 2 bedroom unit. Location is perfect for young family with access to the Broadwater and lots of local restaurants without being in the madness of Surfers Paradise. Perfect for a relaxing family holiday.
If you can survive the torture of the long wait in a queue while seeing, smelling and almost tasting a sumptous array of chocolate induced favors...then Max Brenner will work out just fine for you. Its not cheap and if you have been to Melbourne anytime, probably not the best chocolate experience either, but its damm close.
An un-assuming little place in the first set of shops on Allamanda Drive. Its a plain olf fish and chip shop with a pretty standard menu and a limited drinks fridge.
The kids ratings on the chips were 7/10 and 9/10 respectively. The low score was representing a 10 year olds view that although the chips were crunchy they were maybe too thin for his liking, of course he doesn't usually like small satchets of tomato sauce so I am not sure whether you should really take too much from his review. The 7 year old however is a very hard marker on chips and he doesn't give out 9/10 lightly.
From Brisbane if you are looking for a day trip you might want to try the drive through the Head, Condamine Gorge, Queen Marys Falls and Killarney. Go to Boonah and set the GPS on 'Killarney via the Head.'
You will drive through lush pastures, dryland rainforest, state forest, the great dividing range, and the head of the Condamine River catchment.
There are three places you can try for a lunch break but this review is for the Spring Creek Mountain Cafe. This is the place to stop is you want fabulous food, great service and a senstational view of Wilsons Peak as you eat.
