Recently took my family here for the Oktoberfest celebrations - Fantastic atmosphere with real German music. This pub was recommended to us and we loved it

this place is a very good reward after driving around the Adelaide hills all morning on a sight seeing tour,not too dear and the food was very good,nice friendly service and nice cold beer.

We used to always take our visiting rellies etc here for a great meal but have lately found it seems to have dropped it's usually good service.
The kilo of ribs are still great but the last 2 times we've been there they've been a bit over cooked and we've had problems with them forgetting one of the orders twice now too. When we visited there for dinner on Sunday evening we found the staff to be on the whole very pleasant but not what it used to be.

Authentic German food and beer are just part of the attraction of this venue. The food on offer is extensive with other pub meal favourites on the menu, a wide range of desserts, a good wine list, and caters for children as well as adults. There is also a play area for youngsters towards the rear of the pub. The service is friendly and meals arrive in a very reasonable time - the kitchen seems to run like clockwork. I have eaten there for a number of years and the experience has always been very good.
