This is a fabulous place for catching up with friends. A great atmosphere, plenty of food and drinks to try. The tasting plates are great when there are a few of you, we like trying different things and it's great value for money.

This place does the best sandwiches to take to Uni. One concoction in particular - something to do with beef and caramalised onions (I think? although I can't quite remember) was so delicious, it turned around a bad day.

The howling owl isn't just a cute, funky little cafe though, it's also a bar. I've not been here for drinks at night, but the atmosphere would lend itself nicely to drinks, so it's on the list.

A pleasant little cafe with friendly service. It's in a great location, priced reasonably, food is good and always great coffee. One of our go to places for lunch and a good cupa.

Their food isn't too bad either.

But they are also a whisky bar, so they have a very interesting range. If you're here at nights, then it's probably the better time to sample their wares.

Funky little cafe right beside the wonderful Urban Cow shop. Interesting decor, friendly service and delicious lemon tart. Only complaint was that the coffees come in one size only but I like my caffeine delivered BIG.

My girlfriend and I were doing some christmas shopping when we decided to take a break. We liked the look of this cafe, so walked in and ordered an espresso and latte. We throughly enjoyed them, no waiting time, friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. Certainly gave us the lift we needed to finish our shopping.

This is where I get my daily pick me up before work. Great coffee, laid back service. Excellent location and reasonably priced. Turns into a gin bar at night - must give it a go sometime!
