I once heard that the owner of this place owns a oyster farm in Coffin Bay and that is where he gets his oysters from and one of the reasons why the oysters there are quite nice.
They also do a decent fish and chips and other items in this range.
It is a little bit pricey however people always pay a premium for freshness and quality. Business is generally quite good with many return clients.

Love the oysters here, they taste so fresh. A great place to pick up some delicious oysters, fish, squid and chips and just sit on the beach and enjoy. That's what I did with a few friends recently, everything tasted so fresh. I did find it was more expensive than other fish and chips shops, but you really can taste the difference. You can eat in but there really isn't alot of room, better off with take out. Our food was ready within 10 minutes, it just took a while before we were able to place our order as it was busy.

My husband loves Oysters and assures me that these are fantastic. I myself had salt and pepper calamari and chips which where gorgeous and we enjoyed down at the beach whilst watching the sun go down!! Perfect. They are a little more expensive then your average fish and chip shops but they serve quality products and its really nice for a treat .

The food at the Oyster shop is amazing!!! I love getting a seafood pack and going down to the beach. Even if you're by yourself, getting a delicious light, filling dinner pack from this shop and then laying on the beach is really special and an awesome way to spend an evening!!

The only drawback is the price. It's pretty expensive. But there's nowhere else as good for fish, chips, real calamari (not the proccessed junk that some shops have started serving, for unknown reasons), and delicious prawns!

I used to live in Glenelg and I miss this shop so much. I'm going to make a daytrip soon and visit!

Had a chat with the guy shucking the oysters once. Seems he was the owner.
He said they were from his farm up in Coffin Bay (I think) so you can guarantee they were fresh. And fresh they were! Absolutely beautiful and tasty in every way.
Don't think that's all they do either. There's a whole range of other fried and deep fried edibles from chips to... yeah, not really interested in anything else.
Chips and oysters. Very good.
