A timeline of my one and only attempt to do business with Todae:

12/5/12: I ordered an Eton Solar & Dynamo Powered Radio from the Todae internet website. It was for a friend who doesn't have internet access. The Todae website let me submit the order with no warning that they didn't have this product in stock. I instantly got an automatic e-mail giving me an order number. They immediately debited my Visa card for $71.90.

14/5/12: I received an e-mail which claimed that they had no stock of this radio and they were talking to their supplier about when it would be available.

28/5/12 (Two weeks later): I sent Todae an e-mail, asking what was the situation with this order. I got no response.

29/5/12: I re-sent that e-mail from another account in case the first one had not got through to them. There was no response to this one either.

31/5/12: I contacted my bank about how I might get a refund, since Todae was ignoring all my e-mails. Then I sent Todae a message from their own website, indicating that I was *still* waiting for a reply to my much earlier e-mails. I warned them that after 30 days I'd ask my bank to pursue a reversal of the credit card transaction. I instantly got an automatic e-mail claiming that they would reply within one business day. Of course that did not happen.

6/6/12: My friend who I'd ordered the radio for phoned Todae. They claimed they were too busy to talk to him and they'd get back to him. As usual, Todae did not get back to him.

13/6/12: I contacted my bank and opened a dispute over the transaction. They sent me paperwork to fill out and return, which I did. All this wasted a large amount of my time.

12/7/12 (A month later): Out of the blue, I got an e-mail from Todae's courier company saying that a package was on its way.

13/7/12: My friend received a “Scorpion” radio worth slightly more than the one I ordered. I immediately notified my bank by letter that the order had been completed and that Todae had wasted far more than $71.90 worth of theirs and my time and money.

26/7/12: I wasted even more time checking by phone with my bank that their records showed that this dispute had been resolved.

23/7/12: Todae Solar had the audacity to spam me, trying to flog my friend a Todae solar power system. I used the unsubscribe option.

If you've read through all that, you can see that Todae Pty Ltd is completely incompetent and uninterested in their customers or reputation. They're only too happy to take your money and then totally ignore you. If you're lucky, you might get something from them *months* after you ordered it (maybe only because you asked your bank to cancel their credit card transaction). Or you might have an even worse experience like so many others have done reviews about on the internet. Avoid Todae Pty Ltd like the plague.

Approximate cost: $72 + wasted time/phone calls

Great range of products but they are expensive and the delivery time is ridiculous! I waited for two weeks for nappies ... unfortunately babies can't wait that long! No communication to explain that it would take a while and no explanation. Order history is incomplete. Won't be using them again.

I have ordered quite a few items from this company. They offered me a voucher to spend of $20 if I spent a certain amount of money. The quality of the goods is very good although a bit pricey.

They've now got this 'like me' program going on.
How it works is that you like their certain product such as ipad3 (on atm) and every like, the discount increases by a fraction of a percentage. So you become an advocate of this business using SNS, in return you enjoy a greater discount.

Sounds awesome in theory, writing it down I realised how good it looks on paper. However, the % discount is fractional, you can't even tell from 1 or 2 likes. Furthermore the starting price of the products are usually much higher than retail in my opinion.

It sounds and looks like a good fun, but not really a great deal of save. Their other counterpart todae online does suffer from little bit of quality control.

Ordered some gorgeous gifts from Todae for Christmas ... they delivered really quickly & were very well received!
The bonus vouchers are always a nice bonus.
I'm bummed to read the other reviews as I've had nothing but good experiences with this company ... what a shame.

I ordered some items as I had a voucher with them - but they never arrived! I contacted them and then re-sent the items with the same company and they still never arrived! I just gave up - the value of the items wasn't worth more of my time - but I would never order from them again

I ordered products online, first of all I had to call the delivery company as the products were not delivered. When they arrived the quality of the packaging was of a low standard. Not all the items were in the package. I phoned the company about this and was sent out new flatpacks for the items but not the little purses that were left out. I have phoned and have been promised these items....I am still waiting..my calls are not being answered.

A great little Eco store housing many unique gadgets and gizmos to save money and energy. For those environmentally conscious people always looking for better ways to use the earth's natural resources.

Great online or Bricks and Mortar store for environmentally friendly items. Fast postage for a reasonable cost to your door.

this was pretty average althought they had quite a few products that you couldnt find in any regular store in your local shopping centre. specialty store would stosk these items.
