We used these guys to trim our hedge, tidy up a couple of big potostrums and a small tree. We agreed on the quote of $700, which I thought was a bit over the top, as I just wanted the job done. Probably a bit impatient, as the mess they left behind was atrocious, and they jumped the fence to next door without even getting permission.
It was agreed that they would trim the hedge to a level which would be manageable by myself, when they finally left with my cheque, I was absolutely disgusted with the mess they left behind, and how savagely they had trimmed the hedge.
Ripped off is a word that I would use. The only reason that I called someone is because I work nights and just don't have the time.
I would not recommend these peanuts to anyone I regarded as a friend.

Don't know about all the negative reviews but I got a great quote, quick & friendly service and best of all guys who were on time. I had an over grown tree in my front yard & was very happy with the job they did and would use them again in the future.

My neighbour used the Tree Guys and they cut off many overhanging large branches and dropped them into our yard without warning. They fell onto and damaged our plants and child's play equipment. When I found out and went around there they said that they would clean up the branches, but ended up just packing up and leaving without doing so.

My neighbour took no responsibility so I was left to call and try to get the Tree Guys to come back and clean it up. After many messages that same day they returned my call to say they would come sometime that week, when it was convenient for them.

They never came. After leaving more messages for over two weeks I gave up and got rid of their mess myself.

The phone number they give is for a messaging service company who has no real connection to the Tree Guys. There is no way to contact them directly, and from our experiences and other reviews I can see why.

This business came out to quote on mulching a tree we had removed. They quoted $650, which we thought was over the top. They lowered it to $500, and we accepted. They did the mulching but after they'd left we found the fence had been broken. We called them back and the guy was OK about coming back to repair the 2-3 palings.... it would only cost them a few dollars. No-one arrived to do the job. This is now 10 days ago.
We cannot contact them direct and they do not reply to messages. . Do not do business with them.

I might be the lucky one but I have no complains about this guys. I gave them the job the day before and I only got to see the bad reports late at night when I thought it would be too late and unfair to send them back in the morning when they had already committed their staff and equipment.
We clearly agreed on the scope of work and the price before they started so there would be no room for misunderstanding,
It was a big job which involved all trees and shrubs on both sides and back of my quarter of acre block.
They turned up to be very well mannered and polite and they tried their hardest to please us working very hard on a cold and showery day. They perfectly cleaned up my garden and my neighbour's since it was unavoidable that some branches would fall outside my property.
My advise: like with any other tradesmen, be clear about what you expect and how much it will cost and you should have no problems.

The tree guys were on time and we were happy with there price, they removed a big gum tree and left our property clean and tidy, and it was a difficult job with the tree going over our property with absolute no damage, well done tree guys we are happy and will get you back again soon for our other property that needs work done, thanks.

I wish I had read these reviews. They were given a job by my neighbours to remove the trees and grind them to ground level. One of the guy cut the trees and asked my neighbour to pay half as there will be some other guy to complete the job tomorrow. She paid them the half of total 500. When she phoned them in the evening they never picked up the phone. She left voice mail. Later guy responded to the call and said. It cost me 2.50 for each message you receive. you are harassing my by calling again and again. Now if you pay me for the voice messages I will then come to complete the job. Long story short. ....

When I came to home and checked the worked in the morning I found out damage to my property. Due to their incompetency they drop some branch of tree on my wall adjacent to neighbours ended up making whole in the cement sheet wall and damaging the corners. Poor service. Beaware of these guys. I am going somewhere else now to see what happens. I have made the video and taken the photos too.

Reading these reviews I'm now relieved they did a runner on me after I'd given them the go-ahead..literally: they got in their truck and drove off (I assume they changed their minds, who knows!). Phew!
