I had a recent experience of reading someones review on TripAdvisor knowing their opinion was unjustly tainting that business. The individual expressed their anger and unhappiness on the site, however I personally know the circumstances and believe this was biased and wrongfully portrayed. This site only provides one point of view of an experience and I would only take the advice at face value. TripAdvisor should monitor more closely the rubbish that people post. I would never use it.

I refer to tripadvisor when booking holidays and have been grateful for the reviews. I think its a great site and the extra features for planning a holiday are great.

I regularly use tripadvisor.com, especially when booking accommodation and you want to read truthful, non-biased reviews. After referring to tripadvisor I have often changed my mind on reviews and been thankful.

I found it very helpful to read other members' experiences and see their photos that they had posted on the tripadvisor site. I managed to choose an excellent resort and had the best holiday ever! So happy with my choice, and it came down to using TripAdvisor.

Fantastic website, I absolutely rely on it to book in accommodation. Read some very excellent reviews that give straight-up and honest advice, look at pictures, narrow down searches by what type of accommodation you are looking for - family, singles, etc. Well worth a look.
