We got solar panels installed earlier this year by state solar, they were very professional, all paperwork in order and the job was done with ease. I recommend checking their website out and giving them a call to discuss. I asked every question under the sun and they were more than happy to answer everything. If you are after this service try state solar.

Had a 2.8kw system put in last November. I spent the first weeks watching my meter every couple of hours. Works brilliantly, saves me heaps (my summer bill was a $12 credit even with air cooling). Company was great to deal with, electricians were excellent and I am totally happy with my system! It saves money and helps the environment so it's a win - win all round. Great experience guys!

Purchasing from state solar services has been an extreme pleasure. Having experienced previous hassles and excessive problems with another solar company, I can confidently state that my encounter with state solar has been of the upmost delight. The transaction was A + and hassle free. The customer service girls in particular, Annie, was knowledgable in majority of aspects and always keen on delivering to her highest level of standards. She answered all my questions and queries in detail to a high level of politness and courteousness.
The installation was supplied on the date as promised and I wouldn't consider signing up with another business. I have recommended the company to several of my colleagues.

The installation of my 1.5kVa system went off without a hitch. The install happened promptly after my order on the days specified. The technician was pleasant to deal with and the install has not missed a beat. Now enjoying the benefits of feeding power back to the grid.

I have found State Solar Services to be of the highest nature in regards to their company as well as the high quality products in combination with their prices. I have purchased a 2kw solar system in Jan 2010 for a great deal and within Feb 2010 I was installed with a guaranteed product. The sales representative was extremely competent and the customer service department was excessively helpful in assisting and resolving all questions and relevant queries.

Hi Bronte1, Im considering the same 2kw system, I would like to know what kind of power savings you are making? I have encountered some people who say that after spending 3-4k on solar, they see no reduction in their bills... it baffles me. thanks

State Solar Services took care of all the initial paperwork associated with obtaining our government grant, and once our grant was approved,a simple phone call to State Solar was all that was needed to get our Solar Panels installed to our satisfaction. Our Solar Panels were installed within 6 weeks (as advised by State Solar Services) from our phone call and the installers were fantastic.

this company is the worst i have ever had the misfortune to deal with, paid a deposit in dec 09. so glad it was only a deposit not the full amount, it is now may 2010, have not heard a thing from the company, always have to telephone to find out what is going on, finally had enough, reported them to comsumer affairs and i am going to take them to court, should not be allowed to get away with broken promises, also the government should monitor companies, like these, they are scammers and stealing everyones money.

Bought a 1.5 kw system in January . Had installed in April. Bit of a wait but installers were great. Service was very good. All in all a pretty good outfit. Really happy with the system. Meter was spinning backwards.

They haven't that's the point.
They were booked to do the wiring for the Solar Panels today 30/03/2010 between 8am & 10am and still have not showed up & it's now 3pm. Their office is full of excuses but no solutions! They have cost me nearly $800 in wasted time today and will be getting an invoice for MY time!
If they want the Governments Rebate ($8000) then they had better lift their game. As for me I'm off to look for another supplier.

Approximate cost: $1500
