Tukka features Australian cuisine which includes both locally sourced ingredients as well as bush meats, fruits and vegetables.

It is definitely worth checking out just for that experience, but also the food is excellent.

The share platters feature local game meats and are an interesting culinary experience. You don't have to be too adventurous here if you don't want, but I recommend trying to degustation menu or share platters for the most interesting combinations.

I tried their first-time monthly Native High Tea (which is now on the last Sunday of the month) dining experience yesterday with a few other friends. We paid $35 per person which is about the same price as other similar high tea places around the area (e.g. South Bank). The high tea included (from my memory) - scones with rosella jam and cream, Profiteroles filled with mango sauce topped with dark chocolate sauce, fairy cakes, and 3 types of finger sandwiches -Anisata salmon gravlax, goats curd and lillputs, Bush tomato relish and kangaroo mini burgers, and crocodile meat. I ordered the 'Kangaroo Chai' as my tea selection and asked for milk with it. I think there were too much milk in the teapot though so I couldn't really taste the real 'Kangaroo Chai' flavour. Would have been good to have the milk served separately so that I can taste the tea plain first.

Tukka has got a pretty good reputation and I was welcoming the opportunity to head here for dinner. My expectations were well and truly exceeded, the service was charming and attentive all evening, with extensive knowledge of both the food and wine options. The meals are beautifully arranged, with fantastic, authentic Australian flavours (wattleseed damper with macadamia oil and lemon myrtle dukkah!) and are simultaneously delicate, beautiful and satisfying.

A slightly pricer restaurant, but 110% worth it, especially since you're probably paying just as much as you would for a so so pub meal. I honestly can't wait for an opportunity to go back. The rosella cheesecake was life changing.

If you're looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion or just to treat yourself to a fine dining experience, book in at Tukka. You won't regret it.

Fantastic - the food was amazing and the service outstanding. My husband and I went on a Saturday night with a voucher for the degustation menu. I had heard great things about Tukka and we were not disappointed. All of the food was flavorful and unique - crocodile ceviche - how amazing ! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The diners around us seemed to also be amazed with the high quality of the food and service. Highly recommended ! Yummmmy - loved the perfectly prepared fillet of kangaroo as well.

This must have been one of our most unexpected dining experiences. This restaurant specializes in native Australian foods including emu, kangaroo, crocodile etc. These foods are also cooked with native Australian fruits and nuts. The food and service were simply excellent.
