All ended up OK however the order was initially supplied incorrectly causing a further week's delay to the repair. Once notified, Vacumsopt acknowledged the issue on the first phone call and was rectified ASAP. Mistakes happen, the trick is to correct them with the minimum amount of fuss. I feel this was achieved by VacumSpot and I am a satisfied customer.

I have to say that the customer service from VacuumSpot is excellent. They went in to a lot of trouble to get the correct vacuum hose for me. Electrolux send them the wrong one three times. After me sending a picture of the hose required Alec went to work. I received the correct hose one today. I would recommend this company to my friends with out any worry.

I needed a new hose for my Vacuum Cleaner and in spite of me ordering it in the middle of the festive season it was delivered promptly. It also fits and works perfectly. Very grateful for the excellent service.

I contacted Alec after finding that my Wertheim vacuum cleaner hose had started to fall apart. After a few questions, he identified my particular cleaner as having an unusual part that Wertheim only fitted for a couple of years, and of course, it was not a part that was available as a factory spare...Alec was unfazed, and proceeded to modify the 'standard' factory hose with an after market part, and had it delivered within 3 days. To top it all off, the replacement hose appears to be of better quality that the original.

Awesome service in an afternoon and replaced filters using a pack with bags to save money overall.
Had planned to buy a $20 part for $4.90 from them, but with postage and the vac needing servicing it was a great option to go direct if you are in Melbourne. Worth calling them to get directions to find the location, and to check if you are hoping for same day service.
The service aspect charged labour and didn't do expensive unnecessary things eg I am happily not fixing the cord retraction, and another possible fix was also advised as not worth it though they could have charged another $130 for that.
Value honest service!
The vacuum cleaner now 'sucks' big time ie the suction is amazingly strong. Great job, thanks.
Noticed also that they appear to do work for some big retailers so they are doing the right jobs or would not keep those contracts.
By the way the online YouTube clips on how to reassemble things if you buy certain parts were also very helpful... Yes did thorough research before calling.
