If I feel like vegetarian meal, I'll definately go for Vegiehut! It's unbelievable good taste and you could never imagine all of the dishes are vegetarian. I usually go there for birthday celebration or just simply a dinner gathering with my friends. The only problem is that it is always fully booked over the weekend! I will love to go there again and again!

This place has a great variety of mock meat dishes. The service is efficient. The meals can be a bit hit or miss -some are delicious while other are really bland (avoid the duck on mashed taro and the tofu and yam pot, but go for the sizzling dishes).
Overall it's worth a try!

I booked in here for my daughters birthday as her preference was for Vegetarian.
There are particular sessions here with delegated times, we found this very inconvenient.
Parking was hard to find.
Our service was unsatisfactory and we were nit ahoy as we were rushed.
We asked the Waitress about the Menu but she had trouble explaining it to us.
We did not get all the Food which we ordered as they were rushing us.
The food was satisfactory but our experience was not enjoyable.
Not a Vegetarian Restaurant as the name says but a Asian Restaurant with some vegetarian meals.

Haha, it is a vegetarian restaurant, it's nearly entirely vegan. They do serve mock meats, maybe that confused you - the mock meats are not derived from animals, they're made from wheat gluten, mushroom, soy etc :)

But this is a good comment, there is no parking and don't have the best service.

Came here on a busy Thursday night. Squeezed us in which was very lovely of the staff. Service was still very fast even though it was busy. Food and service was very prompt and food tasted great. Would recommend this to anyone seeking a Asian vegetarian alternative to eat out.

Approximate cost: $15-25

One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Melbourne. Great variety of delicious mock meat dishes. I've taken numerous omnivores here and they've all come away satisfied. The prices are reasonable and the service is usually quick.
The menu can sometimes be a bit confusing as translations can be a little less than clear but it's never stopped me or my dining companions from comfortably deciding on what to eat.

Best vegetarian food around! Always warm, cosy and delicious food and I'm a regular here. Only disappointment is the service, which needs room for improvement. Once we were given our mains without any rice, needed to ask afterwards.. Timing of food is also sometimes difficult. But if you want cheap eats and new to vegetarian, give this a try! Combination fried noodle is my fav and a crowd pleaser!

I hadn't been to this restaurant in close to 10 years, and it has blown me away once again. The renovations have really made the place fantastic. They still have the fake bricks on the wall which always make me smile.
Being able to have a variety of dishes when dining is a rare thing for a vegetarian. I quickly noticed that while everyone else was taking their time, and enjoying a leisurely meal, I was stuffing my face with every glorious morsel of food.
I recommend the following dishes which I love:
* Veggie nuggets
* Satay Skewers
* Veggie tempura (fight your companion for the red capsicum bits!)
* Dumplings
* Fried ice cream
My partner isn't vegetarian and he loved everything, including the szechuan beef. He took the leftovers to work the next day and made his workmates try some and even they couldn't believe how realistic it looked and tasted.

Approximate cost: $10.00
