We didn't think having our family portraits taken would be such a fun and amazing experience. Gone are the days where you sit, pose once and smile for the camera. With our photographer, Luca Prodigo, he took us on a journey to discover how we live our lives and how we wanted to portray it through the camera. The results were outstanding and left us speechless. He really did capture who we were as a family. Would highly recommend Luca for his patience, knowledge, artistry and brilliance to capture the perfect shot.

While on holiday with my little girls (5 and 3 years old) in Melbourne, I noticed some incredible family shots hanging in my friend's house. I decided to book a session during our holiday for my girls and I at the Verve Portraits Surrey Hills studio.
I was greeted with a welcoming champagne for my nerves and a babyccino for the girls. Our photographer Simon developed a rapport with my girls from the moment we stepped into the waiting area, cracking jokes and easing my worry that they would be shy.
The shoot itself flew by and the three of us had so much fun together, laughing and playing. As we had to fly back they expressed our images through so we could see them before we departed and we were blown away by the shots. Verve agreed to ship the art for us at a small cost and now its time to find room on our walls to display it.
Wish they were based in NZ so we could do it again as the girls keep asking when are we returning to ‘the photo cafe’.

What an experience! They came to our house to learn about our family. Then we had a two hour photo session. The photographer, Ben, was amazing. At the we had a 2.5 year old and 5 month old twins. The photographer really knew how to work with kids. You then come back to view your photos in a theatre with music and drinks and nibbles. We were so happy with the photos. They were super, super expensive. You can only buy them already framed or as canvas or within glass blocks. I would rather have bought one picture from them than 10 from a cheaper company. These photos will be treasured. forever.

I love the photo we've taken here. The interior of the studio is very nice. The room for us to pick the photos is very nice and comfortable too. But it all comes with a high price tag as they don't sell loose photos. Every photo you pick will be framed or in a photo album.

Got a verve voucher pack when we bought a new car, was initially a bit unsure but liked the photos on their website so thought we'd give it a go.

The photo shoot was actually really fun, I hate having my photo taken and just wanted pics of the kids but the photographer convinced me to get involved and it ended up being a real laugh and we didn't have to pose which I really appreciated!

The photos were beautiful, very creative and they managed to capture how close we are as a family. We've got the canvas in our hallway and it makes me smile whenever I see it.

Just amazing. Loved the shoot, even though I am not one to like having my picture taken. Our photographer just let us have fun with it. We saw the pictures a few days later and I was really blown away. I really expected it to be all posed a showy but they were natural. It was like they had really captured the family.

Great team there! So welcoming and professional. The photographer made it so much fun for us and the shots really took me by surprise. Treated like royalty with champagne and the works. I initially had to drag my hubby in but he was delighted he came and bought up big! I can't believe the image outcome, they blew us away! If anyone is ever in doubt just go and do it, you won't be 'tricked' or pressured they worked to what we told them we were prepared to spend..don't get that often! do it do it do it!
