I don't know when they changed the rules, but I've been here a number of times using shop a docket or any other vouchers and they've always honoured it no matter what I got.
This time around, went there and they said there were exclusions! There's no fine print anywhere so no idea when they decided this.
Very not happy.
Ended up getting this mixed grill thing. The sausage tasted weird, the kangaroo was waaaay too overcooked even though I said I wanted it rare and the chicken was mediocre at best. Then they had this weird terriyaki barramundi thing. Let's say I learnt not to put those 2 flavours together... ever.

We had the 1kg slow cooked ribs, and a seafood platter. The salmon portion was very small. Overall the food was average.

Hadn't been to this Hotel for over 20 years. We picked footy Grand Final night to test it out and it was extremely quiet. Only 5 other tables there. Was greeted at the door on arrival and told that we could choose any table we wanted. However, she didn't give us any menu's so had to retrieve them ourselves. We chose the beef schnitzel and the salt and pepper squid. Both were very tasty, however the chips weren't very hot and looked like they had been refried a couple of times. Ordered the brownie dessert and it came in a large plastic parfait glass, mulched up and mixed with ice cream and chocolate topping. Would have been much better served whole on a plate, with the ice cream on the side. Didn't taste very nice at all. It's a nicely set out hotel and we really liked the decor. Plenty of car parking space and a covered area outside. Would probably come back - just wouldn't order the brownie desert, lol.

Approximate cost: $32

How disappointing. I have not been hearing great things about this place and based on all of these reviews, maybe it is one to avoid.

I had a coupon for 50% off second meal lunch or dinner, my girlfriend and I thought this would be great value. Well, we regretted it, didn't enjoy our meals, the pizza was very disappointing, tasted and looked like frozen pizza from the supermarket, it was also undercooked. My steak was overcooked (I asked for med-rare) and my chips were cold and limp! Service was slow and unfriendly. A very disappointing lunch which will not be repeated.

I hate when that happens - Look forward to something and end up disappointed.

We've been eating here for years on and off. Since they've added the "steakhouse" component I'm now a convert. They do GREAT steak! I regularly have the fillet mignon, hubby the rib eye and they're delicious. Their chips are good, their onion rings fantastic and I just love the little caesar salad that comes with it - makes a great change from the usual garden salad. Yum - highly recommend. Not cheap, around $35 for a steak but worth it. My only objection is they charge $2 for mustard which I think is super cheeky.

They sound rather expensive, but the quality of the food sounds great.I love steak, so will definitely have to drop by soon and see it for myself.

An establishment we wanted to go to didn't have the 1kg steak anymore, so after calling around, we found this place served it.
Upon arrival, there were many people there, so we expected something awesome. And the meals that came out did look good. So we sat and had a look at the menu.
$45 FOR THE STEAK?????!!!!!???!!!! WTF?????
But we were wanting, so just got it as we were already there and sat. It was good and cooked well. The chips were also crunchy and to our taste.
Overall, not somewhere I would come again unless I won the lottery. But the food was good enough.

Years ago this used to be a very busy nightlife spot. Not sure about that anymore now we have kids. But they do now have a play equipment area (bit like a playground you would find at Hungry Jacks). We had lunch there just before christmas. It was packed with Xmas functions and the staff coped really well considering how busy they were. Food was good and the kids had a ball. They had a santa there the kids could visit and get a picture - which was an unexpected added bonus. Worth a visit and for those that don't have kids - the playground is in a seperate room (glass walls and doors) so the noise is kept to a minimum.

I have been here a couple of times. The first time was years ago and the food was very dissapointing but we were there more recently and the food was quite nice. The bar is a bit dark with not a lot of atmosphere and unfortunately they have no outside eating area but overall a pleasant experience. It is also in the entertainment book which makes it better value.

Had a very good tbone steak last night. Out with a group of mature friends but disappointed that all the meals ordered at the same time were not served at the same time
