I had a really bad headache and so needed some physio. A friend recommended Viva Physio and it was really handy that they were in the city. The physiotherapist I saw was really good and helped me a lot with the headache but also on advice to prevent my headaches in the future. It was also handy that you could book online through their website.

I went to see Bede at Viva Physio for a neck injury I developed from computer use. Even though the problem had been going on for a long time, Bede managed to alleviate my pain very quickly. He also encouraged me to get back to the gym which has helped even more. I would recommend this physio clinic for their expertise and friendly service.

Some clever sounding leg muscle pain (IBT?) made me visit Kathryn - found using WOMOW - and she was terrific. Sorted me out, gave me exercises to maintain no pain going forward adn was pleasant and friendly to boot. Definitely recommend Viva.

I developed ITB syndrome (runner's knee) after taking up long distance running and doing too many kms too early. Kath at Viva diagnosed the problem straight away and tailored a program for me. A combination of strength exercises and rest resolved the problem and allowed me to get back into training within 4 weeks. 3 months later I ran my first marathon and haven't looked back! I was particularly happy that Kath gave me the help I needed to ensure the problem didn't come back.

I went to Kathryn a few weeks after dislocating my knee. I was really impressed from the start by her in depth knowledge and she was able to pinpoint weaknesses and offer exercise solutions to overcome them both now and longer term. The exercises have really strengthened my knee (probably better than it was even before the injury) and I'm now running 6k no problem and starting a little soccer. I highly recommend Viva.

I went to Diana her for a frozen shoulder which I'd have for over 6 months. I'd tried many types of treatment including surgery but none were as effective as her treatment.

Good personal service and the physio seemed to have a really good knowledge about sports injuries in particular. I've had a lot of issues with my knee and have never found anything that has helped, but the exercises that I was given at Viva seem to be strengthening my knee and I'm feeling much more confident running and swivelling now.

Kathryn has treated and advised on my back injury for a number of years - the best things about her approach is that she always thinks about both short- and long-term improvement, and tries to enable you to help yourself with ongoing solutions. Highly recommended!

I have recently seen Kathryn at Viva and she is excellent. Unlike other physios I have been to, she spent the whole half hour of my appointment with me, and me alone. She didn't just stick machines on me and run off to see someone else. She also concentrates on getting you better for the long term by giving you exercises to do at home. Highly recommended.

Kathryn at Viva Physiotherapy is excellent. She recently started the clinic in Flinders Lane but has had many years experience in physiotherapy. Her approach was different to many where the cause of the problem was addressed as well as the pain. Kathryn also works for the Essendon VFL team.
