Please READ, Alleluia!!! WE SOLD... I met Lidija from Walter and Irvine after having two horrible experiences with two other agents, 1 well known from the hills. I spent lots of time, money and emotions that absoultely drained me!! After a very lengthy gruelling meeting. Lidija still had faith and confidence that she could get the job done. Lidija is a very professional, honest, upfront and genuine person, she kept us informed every single time! I was begining to feel it was impossible but Lidija kept me going and got the job done. It was no easy task, but i had fun with Lidija. She kept it real. I felt her passion and determination. I highly recomend Lidija from Walter and Irvine. She is my go to agent and i will always refer her and Walter and Irvine. Great ethics for a real job to be done. For ever grateful, Thank You Lidija from Walter and Irvine.

We had a wonderful experience when selling our family home with Walter & Irvine and we got more then the asking price! The service and result we achieved was first class.
We decided to list our home with Walter & Irvine Real Estate based on the service we received from them as potential buyers. The sales consultant while helpful and genuine in helping us find a new home, still put his clients, the vendor's first. Although we didn't purchase through them, we liked knowing that they wouldn't “sell us out” to anyone just to make a sale.
Ensuring our home was only being seen by buyers who had the level of finances the home was worth was important, as we didn't want just anyone walking through our home. Also knowing our home was secure during buyer inspections with ‘private inspections' gave us piece of mind with a young family.
Communication was open both ways and it was easy to get in touch with the agent. We feel the main reason we had such a wonderful experience was we had TRUST in Walter & Irvine and we allowed them to market our home using their marketing model. We also had open conversations and didn't hold anything back knowing they were working for us only.
In the end, we had 3 offers on our property in under 2 weeks and it was sold to the highest bidder.
Here are some tips we think will help when picking an agent.
1. Trust the agent. This will allow you to be open 100% with them.
2. Ask for a certain level of communication either everyday, every few days, once a week. What ever you are going to be comfortable with.
3. Listen to the professional otherwise sell the property yourself. We all think our homes are worth more than what the figures tell us.
4. Read Real Estate Mistakes by Neil Jenman. Helped us to understand the industry in more detail.
5. Ask questions. It's your biggest investment, if you don't understand why they do things differently, ask!
Thank you Kevin and Walter & Irvine Real Estate for successfully selling our home. We will recommend you to anyone thinking of selling real estate.

Ok, so I bought my house through them.
The agent I was dealing with was actually Mr Walter, so you would expect quality goodness. I did receive this all through the buying process as is expected. He negotiated with me on a professional level, stated everything that I needed to know and made sure I was kept up to date with developments.
But at the end of the day, after he had made the sale, there was no more contact. No after sales service whatsoever! I had to call him to get answers! That and I had to visit the office to get my keys. The sign wasn't taken away till I physically pulled it down and then had to call them to remind them to remove the sign.
Working in the real estate industry myself, I know the importance of good customer service. And this place disappointed.

Thank you for your candid feedback regarding our service.

Our common practice is to make keys available at our office after settlement and have the sold sign board ordered down within the week prior to settlement. If this was not the case, we do apologise.

We also have record of being in regular contact with you since you purchased the property however if this correspondence has failed to reach, you please inform us in order to correct this.

We value your feedback as we strive to give the best customer service to our clients. You may want to visit our website www.walterirvine.com.au to view what other clients have said about our service.

You do have my contact address correct. After all, you sold me the property so you should know the address. However, the only contact I had with you was a letterbox drop 3 years after settlement.
