My two dogs and one cat spent almost three weeks at these kennels and hadn't been there before. At the end of their stay they were clearly happy and relaxed (particularly my 11 y old Husky Maya who can be quite high maintenance and is usually uptight after a stay in kennels)...they were very professional and friendly kennels and it was clear that all pets had been well stimulated and exercised. Also open 7 days a week and public holidays which is great. I'm actually very relieved that there are such great kennels so close to home. Thanks and the fur-children will definitely be staying there again.

Thank you for the lovely review, the 3 of them were no trouble at all and just loved their time at camp. Can wait to see then again.....

Our girl Hunnie stayed at the kennel for about 1 month and she had the time of her life. Great staff and very clean. Would highly recommend. She is going again for another stay, not so long this time.

It was a absolute please having Hunnie with us for her stay. Thank you for writing such a lovely review. We look forward to seeing Hunnie again very soon.

My best pal Archie a 4.5yo German shepherd dog needed to be cared for whilst I took a holiday for 3 weeks. Previous experience at two other boarding kennels had left me apprehensive of leaving him for any longer than a week. My Vet suggested Badger Creek boarding kennels as he knew my dog, me and my previous experiences. From the moment I walked into the office area I was delighted; friendly, sensible staff who understood firstly my dogs needs and then mine too. Archie doesn't like all dogs, he has a skin condition which flares up at this time of year - so he needs regular thorough grooming and weekly medicated baths, he enjoys a chicken maryland to chew on every day, has to have a couple of favourite toys and is, despite his coat, very susceptible to the cold. He is a very loving chap, enjoys human company and lives on 12 acres where he does not stop all day - so very energetic and fit. His biggest problem is he can lose lots of weight very quickly in kennels. So when I mentioned this list of special needs (his and mine) I was delighted at the easy and knowledgeable response from the staff, their instant grasp of what was required and the simple statement that none of these issues was out of the ordinary! Kennels (in my experience) veto all bones - so no comforting chicken to chew, they worry about you saying he 'doesn't like all dogs' and I usually get a negative comment about him needing a coat at night because he gets cold - not Badger Creek. No problems.
I didn't have to repeat any of the concerns or special requests and I really felt for the first time, that although I hated leaving him, Badger Creek would be able to offer him the best care and chance to be happy and relaxed. When I dropped him off the staff member who had listened to my concerns about him getting really stressed when taken away, was brilliant at handling him and leading him happily away with his favourite toy and chicken to chew - I didn't have to listen to him howling and crying - what a relief. During his stay I received loads of photos of what he was up to and he looked great and happy in all of them. I picked him up this morning - I was given excellent feedback, and all his possessions were in order (lost in other places) and best of all he looked happy, healthy and although a little lighter he is not skinny. We have been for a walk - he seems stiff and quiet, but he is now sleeping in his favourite spot - missing his friends I think. Thank you to all the staff at Badger Creek Boarding Kennels and Cattery - I will be back and will certainly recommend you to others.

Hi, Thank you so much for the lovely review. We really enjoyed having Archie stay with us and look forward to him staying again in the future. Dont worry too much about him being a bit tired, he has had lots to do while on camp, new smells, lots going on etc. He will be back to his usual self in no time. Thanks again.

This is the first time we have used Badger Creek and also the first time we have had to leave our dog whom we adopted this past Christmas. We were very nervous about leaving him and the staff at Badger Creek were very reassuring and friendly and the morning we dropped him off even he was excited hearing all the barking on our arrival. The updates on Facebook were brilliant as these allowed us to see how he was going throughout our trip and each time we saw a photo or video he looked very happy. We looked at a few kennels before booking Badger Creek and the reason we did book with them was the premises are amazing, clean and very well maintained. The staff were friendly and genuinely cared about the dogs staying with them. They were great value for money and what the other kennels we looked at listed as extras were inclusions in the price we paid. The staff spend time with the dogs on an individual basis, they are exercised daily and receive cuddles not because the staff have to but because they want to. We will definitely be return customers and would highly recommend Badger Creek as the place to leave your dog when you head off for holidays.

Very good. Our dog loves it there. I don't have to worry when I am away. Nice and clean and good exercise grounds for dogs.

Excellent experience. This was our first time using these kennels. Lovely friendly staff at all times, from the initial phone booking, to the drop off and pick up of our puppy. They seemed very caring, and to genuinely like the dogs they were caring for! Our puppy was very happy when we collected him. We even bought him a pair of 'pyjamas' they make there, they kept him warm while he was there, and are now keeping him warm in his kennel at home! They're great! We will be back. Thank you!

Approximate cost: $90

I have boarded my two dogs there once or twice a year for the past 4 years! The dogs absolutely love it!!

My two Westies love the place, they go in without any hesitation and come out reluctantly. The kennel staff have handled all the medication needs for prolonged periods (6-8 weeks) when we have been away to Europe. It has got to the point where we allow 2 hours extra time in order to drop the girls off here when heading off abroad from the airport.

Hi Guys.
Thanks for the kind comments. They truly are a pleasure to have. It's a wonder sometime with the size of the needles they have had to have at times. I always cringe giving the. But they take them like a trooper.

Thanks again

Paul
