an aussie favourite! this pie shop is an institution and i would recommend to anyone after a great award winning pie. nice to grab a pie before heading down to the yatala drive-in. Awesome!!

Went there on the way back from the coast - the chips could be hugely improved, and found the pie a bit too salty - why does everything have to be so salty these days - otherwise the chicken pie was not too bad

I love yatala pies they have a great selectioon to choose from both sweet and savoury. My favourite is the curried chicken pie and the apple pie with cream staff are very friendly. And yes they do get very busy at times which goes to show how many people love them but it is well worth the wait. Better than the local shop pies :)

All the hype but without the satisfaction.
Usually a long line both in store and on drive through. Prices are a bit high for product and drive through service needs to be refined a bit as 3 separate window serving areas can leave you stuck between cars after receiving your order and can't pull out of the line to exit.
Custard tarts are disappointing but they do the best caramel pies around. Sausage rolls on par with local bakeries (which are almost half the price)

The pies are always delicious. Quite large and good value. Both sweet or savory selection. Will continue to head here on the way home from the coast.

Pies are always yummy and quick service. We will continue to make our trip down for pies on a weekly basis.

I totally agree with armchair critic...they are nothing like the pies of thirty years ago and the fillings do not have much of the ingredients which should be in them...atmosphere, service, etc...great....but product needs a lift. I still call in now and then hoping for some improvement...i may just try once more....turn back the hands of time, i say

I wasn't overly impressed. I had a custard tart which may as well have come from woolies. We've only been twice but both times staff barely noticed us. It is more like a production line. There is a very wide range of pies as well as desert pies and family pies to take home. My husband loved his meat pie which was pretty good, so I'd say stick to the regular

Nice pies but nothing special, but service is great.
Worth stopping on the way up to Brisbane if your hungry but not as a special trip just to go there.
