Youi isnthe best insurance the is in my booksi have been with them for 2 years and never ever had a problem the only problem i have had was i forgot my password for logging in to the app so that was not really there problem that was nice they are very easy to talk to on the phone

We have been with YOUI (House + car) for 4 years because of great price and service over the phone, but have been worried about what happen when we have to use the insurance. Accident happened this week and their customer support has been nothing but world class.

Do NOT insure with "youi" for the following reasons;

1) They distribute/sell your personal information to UNSCRUPULOUS companies when simply obtaining a quote!
2) They are extremely expensive and the most expensive!
3) They are NOT an Australian company.

Tried to get insurance for my Lexus 350 and after wasted almost half an hour talking to their "expert", got a quote which was THE MOST EXPENSIVE.

Haha, never again. Do not try with such [redacted due to inflammatory comment] company!!!

Went online for an instant quote and -like many others on here-made the mistake of giving my mobile number when it was requested. There was no online quote, of course, but a phone call within minutes (automatic alarm bells: why would they pose as having an online quotation service if it doesn't exist?) Operator very pushy and when I FINALLY got the quote it was nowhere near as low as other companies (AAMI, QBE etc). When I explained this, the operator instantly lowered the price and said they offered clauses on their policy that no other companies did (not true - AAMI had offered exactly the same ). The guy was almost begging me to take out the policy in the end. I will never approach YOUi for any insurance again.

Found the customer service to be really good. They were able to beat the price of our previous insurance. Luckily haven't had to put any claims through but from my experience the times I have had to contact them, I imagine that they would be very thorough and fast.

what they don't tell you is that if you write you car off, they look for the same make,model,year as your car, they look in the trading post for the cheapest, & that's what they pay out ,, i lost $11,000. the difference what i paid for my car & what they paid me out for my written-off car.

Avoid YOUI Insurance at ALL cost!

Went online to get a quote but instead I had someone calling me! I got a quote and asked for the PDS to be sent to my email before I make my decision. I was asked for my payment details and was ASSURED money was not to be deducted. I was told that when I wanted to go ahead with the policy all the info would be ready to be processed.

Worse mistake!

Instead of the PDS quote, I received a tax invoice! Called to resolve the issue and was told I needed to cancel my policy eventhough I did not sign up for it!!! After speaking to several consultants still (pushing the policy) I begged them not to deduct money from my credit card as I never said 'yes' to this policy.

Came to policy start date and sure enough they did try to STEAL my money and by email they said they will try again!

If this is happening to you right now like it did with me, speak to your bank immediately. I also did my own recordings which I did notified them. I have written my cancellations by email but they avoid written communication. To cancel my policy (again did not sign up for) I had to speak to a consultant. This is NOT a TRUSTWORTHY company!

Every time I have called for a quote I have received exceptional service. Went above and beyond to help me get the best price. I have now swapped our home and contents, two cars and investment home over and have saved heaps!! Would not hesitate to recommend top anyone who asked
