My family absolutely adores this place, it is well worth the drive from Launceston, they are happy for you to take a picnic lunch in and have provided tables to eat at. They also have an inside play center to give the kids a break (or mum and dad) The animal enclosures are family friendly with our young family able to see into the enclosures unassisted. The tiger display is incredible and the staff do an incredible job with the animals. We have been several times and yet to encounter a negative experience. Highly recommend it

Great place to visit! The safari bus was awesome!! Some of the enclosures were a bit small, such as the monkey enclosure. Overall we had a good time and they even had a jumping castle!

This would have to be the best zoo i have ever been to. I have only been here once a few years back and my daughter and i had a ball. We loved that you could go in with a lot of the animals and feed them. My daughter loved going on the safari bus ride to feed the bigger animals like the emus, alpacas, camels and a buffalo if i remember correctly. I loved the camel especially when it stuck its head in the bus and tried to get the food off one lady and licked her face. we thought that was funny as. Wasnt very fond of the emus as they were constantly sticking there heads in trying to get the food out of your hands. I didnt see one at the side of the bus and it stuck its head in and took bag of food straight out of my hand. i jumped so high i landed on the floor. My daughter thought that was hilarious. They have a range variety of animals and most of them you can interact with.
There is a kids playground to keep the kids entertained as well. You can pack some meat and have a bbq or there is a cafe inside where you can buy something to eat.
We cant wait to go back there to see the tigers which werent there when we went.

A bit pricey for what was there today the safari ride was brilliant laughed the whole time. great family outing, but dont offer family pass have to pay for each person individually The animals can be hand fed but watch out u get mobbed by them soon as they hear the coin drop in the feed machine .
was a bit disappointed with the children's play area couldn't let our 4 yr old play as ball pit full of bird droppings and generally dirty also wasnt operating but signs up to ask .
generall cleaning could be a bit better glass on enclosures in desperate need of clean hard to see some of the animals due to dirty glass but aprt from the few faults not a bad day picnic area available. bit concerened some of the enclosures are small mini ponies in small pen .

I have been to Zoo Doo several times in the past. I have always been a little concerned for the welfare of the animals kept here, especially the monkeys as they are contained in very small areas and cages. There is a large range of animals, including tigers, monkeys, camels, ostriches along with a lot of Australian native creatures. There is a lot in terms of entertainment available for both children and adults. I however do not rate this place very highly as I believe the conditions for some of their animals require improvement.

Quite a nice park with lots of animals. Very entertaining. It is rather pricey to get in though.

Excellent wildlife park which is very handson, so fantastic for the kids and whole family.
Take a ride on the safari style bus and get up close and personal with some of the animals, such as emus, camels etc.
You can hand feed the wallabies, kangaroo and deer and can pat a koala.
As well as native Australian animals they have a lot of birds, monkeys, some lions and tigers.
They also have pet animals you can touch such as pigs, bunnies, guinea pigs, llama
