honest and old-fashioned service. a gem of a place

Julie arrived exactly on time and her warm personality relaxed all our pets that she had come to photograph. she loves her work and it shows in her professionalism and her patience in getting the perfect shots - which isn't easy with active pets! we got our prints very quicklyl and will treasure these forever. she knows that pets aren't just pets they are FAMILY

the best pet food shop in the South. They care and know about the quality of the meat they sell. i breed pedigree cats and i can trust them totally with the quality of their food. Sue in particular is extremely knowledgable and helpful

Beware, the Veena is not the Veena any more. they are under new management, and now one of my favourite restaurants is poorly run with food that i wouldn't be happy serving at home.

Firstly, we tried to order from the online menu, only to be told that they didn't make most of the dishes anymore. we were told to drive down to choose from the menu for our takeaway. the food wouild only be a 10 minute wait. so prepared for a drive and a longer than needed wait, we trekked down only to be told that the wait was 25 minutes, in a tiny corridor with no magazines or other diversions. my favourite dishes were unavailable, so i ordered second faves, malagu beef and instead of a beef rendang was offered a chicken rendang. so i thought i woudl try that. oh yes, and there were no eftpos facilities. cash only. after the long wait and then getting home, was very hungry and looking forward to the meals. The chicken dish was not rendang, was best described as stir-fried chicken breast in a kind of vindaloo sauce. the melagu beef, a specialty, was visually different, and tasted nothing like the rich deep flavours that i had come to expect. These people do not know what they are doing, and the food - you might as well cook for yourself and save the drive.

They always delivery when they say they will, reliable, friendly and have great fresh produce. they even will select fruit according to your request, eg half ripe bananas, half greenish. i am a regular, and i am delighted that they even have a range of low lactose dairy.

i bought and paid for party supplies online, they rang and told that they would be with me next week. I'm still waiting for my order months later and they won't return my calls or my emails. I've had to open a paypal dispute, still they won't get in touch. not good enough!
