Previously friendly while I spent years spending money there, then something needed fixing, on the only occasion unfortunately, they were rude and unbending. I was left disappointed.

I purchased a 3 band saw blades. the thinnest of them snapped while removing from the packet. I live 600KMs away in Kalgoorlie, called them they said they would replace it next visit.

I did not get back for a while, in fact I shifted to Perth and the blade remained in my shed until I had unpacked it. When I found it I put it outside and it rained, so it got rusty.

The blade was in the original packet with the CARBATEC sticker and price tag on it. I returned it to the store, they wanted to repair it for free, fine that was OK.

A few weeks later I get a call, it cannot be repaired and somehow the clean break was now in 3 pieces.
I asked for a store credit to use for the $20, Salesman complained, it was rusty, no receipt, too long ago. I gave them an opportunity to reconsider and get back to me.

Flat No - very disappointing with this refusal over such a small thing to keep a genuine long term customer of theirs satisfied. They seemed more than happy to make that decision. Callback salesman spoke to me like he could afford to lose a customer,

Shame, after this review was written I spent a very small amount of time finding a closer store for my future purchases.
