This review is for Ross' Yiros, Gawler SA

It's a 'Yiros' place. Nothing spectacular but it's clean. Their Yiros' are on a par with most of the yiros' that I've had in Adelaide and Melbourne. On the several times that we have dropped in we have been served by enthusiastic hygenic staff who aren't determined to drown the yiros in garlic sauce.

What more can you want? Their pizza's (especially the large Mexican which is our regular choice) is ALWAYS delivered within 30-35 minutes and is piping hot. We are more than 5 kilometres from their location at Blair Athol but that has never been a problem. Pizza Patrol has a loyalty program ( after the tenth large pizza the next large pizza is free). They have a Pick-up Only happy hour between 4:30 and 5:30 when you can get unlimited large pizzas from just $8.50 each.

the staff are actually interested in their customers, particularly the new ones... I quite often 'relax' in cafes while my partner scours the local thrift shops, not here. the coffee's great, table service even though it's definitely a walkin walkout. the atmosphere is excellent and the bakery is popular with many daily regulars. They have a small menu and we've sampled most of it

This review is for Ouyen Club Restaurant, Ouyen VIC

The new operators have introduced a comprehensive Chinese menu available in house or as take-away to expand the traditional Australian fare that the Club previously provided. The kitchen area that we could see was immaculate and the service exemplary. We only ordered a single entree, one main course and a special fried rece. a perfectly adequate meal for the two of us. We'll definitely eat there next time we're in Ouyen

everytime we are in Maryborough, that's about three times a year and we've been seeing family there regularly since 1980 we've had at least one take-away meal of 2 pieces of butterfish, minimum chips and a couple of calamari rihgs. The chips are thick, crispy on the outside and hot&fluffy on the inside, the calamari is always perfectly cookes as is the huge picec of butterfish. Not good for me but Bill's too good a cook to miss out on once or twice every trip

A pretentious fish&chippery, pretty basic facilities but silver service prices for a reasonable feed served up in a cardboard box My disaproval was heightened by having to wait for over 30 minutes for our order (placed just after the cafe had opened while locals wlked in to pick up their 'prephoned orders at least one of which was just like the one that I had placed. Incidentally they didn't have cuttlery or serviettes on the night either.

Where do I start?. The experience started to go south when we 'checked in', the only attendant was in the site laundry washing sheets, took us about 10 minutes to find her. Checked in and told where the 'drive-thru park was we drove in and found the roadways a tad narrow with trees. shrubs and hedges intruding into the roadway, Our 17 foot van scraped it's sides just following the bitumen. Then things deteriorated. Our car moved OK into the drivethru, but when the van's wheels got off the bitumen and onto the turnaround area they sunk. Bogged and the attendant could only say 'I don't know what to do'. After 'deditching' car & van we found that the site wasn't wide enough to extend the van's awning so we got to walk throudh mud and the deep dark (no park lights on until after 10 pm....guess they're set for 'summer time'. The 'hot' water in the showers must have been set for 'summer' as well because the showers could only be got to tepid. Given our clothing and towels were wet we decided to dry them in the laundry..Couldn't because that attendant we eventually found doing the washing was 'still doing the drying' until she locked up the laundry some time before 9 pm

This review is for Treasure Garden Chinese Restaurant, Craigieburn VIC

Melbourne weather ( bloody cold & the rain was like sleet) couldn't detract from the cheerfulness of the serving staff who helpfully suggested meals that neither my partner nor I had had previously. The presentation was great, the appearance of the meals was nearly as good as the fantastic flavours. So good that we dined there three times during our recent short stay at Craigieburn

We've 'overnighted' in this park regularly, make that frewuently for more than 10 years. The proprietor ALWAYs directs us to the site and 'levels' our caravan with an appropriate balk of timber. The amenities block is always immaculately clean, complete with shower crtains, floor mats AND supplied with adequate, accessible and soft toilet paper. While you can't get a roast meal delivered to your van anymore the Ouyen Club (about 5 minutes walk) has a good quality Chinese/Australian menu.
Peter's park shines from his proud proprietorship

This review is for B SAFE Electrical Testing And Tagging, Davoren Park SA

OHS%W legislation obliges me to ensure that moveable electrical equipment (kettles, micrewaves, computer equipment etc) in the workplace is 'safe' to use. This bloke isn't the quickest, but he's not the most expensive either. He's worth a look at because you've got to keep your workplace compliant with OHS$W requirements.
