We are regular customers at Haigh's. Customer service can vary from very friendly to a bit cold and clinical, depending upon who is serving. The chocolates are excellent quality and reasonable value for such a quality product. We love the dark chocolate shiraz truffles.

This interesting shop has been in Hahndorf for over 40 years. As well as a selection of jewellery and gemstones, including opals, Australian Minerals has a wide selection of shells, insects, natural history items, crystals and crystal healing items. Australian minerals provide many worldwide collectors, universities, state museums and research institutes with their specimens. The shop owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. A very interesting shop to visit.

Surprisingly, based on other reviews, service was not so friendly or helpful on the day we were there. The cheeses we got to try were good. I would probably have purchased more of a selection if we had found someone who was interested in talking with us about the products.

Friendly service. The tostada style volcanes were our favorite. The vegetarian platter we tried was very bland, so on our next visit we will order more volcanes for our meal. Great ambience, a very popular restaurant in the area.

Tasty, relatively healthy fast food. Similar to Subway with the option to customize your burrito by adding salads of your choice and mild or spicy salsas, meat or vegetarian. We enjoy the vegetarian refried bean burrito which my son as a meat eater also prefers to the meat options. Generous sizes. Gluten free options available.

This review is for Jonathon Marchand, Modbury SA

This review is for Doctor Jonathon Marchand, not for the clinic that he has moved to, which as a drop in clinic means you must be prepared for a very long wait as they offer a first come first served basis. Jonathon is very caring and dedicated to his work. He offers more than the average GP due to his extensive experience with homeopathy, muscular skeletal medicine as well as his extensive medical experience. He listens to his clients, really listens. What a rare and beautiful quality that is! He is willing to think outside the box and is very humanitarian. As a new client when I told him about a treatment that was helping others with my condition, but was not offered in SA, he read the book about it and learned how to do the treatment in order to help me. One in a million.

The ladies are super friendly. The wine selection is excellent and very good value. We took home some of the "Specialized" Shiraz Cab Merlot, and Skeleton Key Shiraz after a lovely relaxing afternoon of wine tasting and gourmet pizza in the lounge.

My usual clinic in the Hills told me to go to Flinders when I cut my finger and required stitches rang them for an emergency appointment. I sought a second opinion whether stitches would be necessary. At the Russell Clinic, the receptionist was very helpful and the nurse spoke to one of the doctors there who used to work in accident and emergency and they arranged to fit me in between patients. The nurses were very kind and friendly, helping to stop the bleeding, and Dr Haydn Bunton stitched up the finger very expertly thus saving me a trip to Flinders Hospital and many long hours of waiting. For this they have my heartfelt appreciation, gratitude and respect. Bulk billing for Health Care Card holders.

This review is for Indian Temptation Restaurant, Blair Athol SA

verified email - 27 Dec 2013

We heard about Indian Temptations from the rave reviews on Urban Spoon. Our vegetarian curries were delicious, the dal and the paneer butter masala and garlic naan all excellent. Did not enjoy the onion bhajis which seemed overcooked, everything else was great. Our guests enjoyed the beef madras and butter chicken. Serving sizes are generous. The toilet facilities are very basic. The restaurant decor, tables and chairs inside are very basic and there are some tables outside. For a special occasion meal, where you may want more luxury, you may like to go to a more up market Indian restaurant like the Jasmine. But for a quick tasty authentic Indian curry, or for take away, Indian Temptations offers a very tasty authentic Indian meal and offers great value for money. Service is always very friendly and efficient.
