I took my previous dog to Pet Barn Mermaid Waters for many years ! He always shuddered every time I took him! I should have taken his warning signals! I took my new pup there twice and she also seemed terrified! On the 2nd occasion 6months ago, her thumbnail was hanging by a thread & bleeding profusely! I had to pay them for the grooming session! They paid the vet bill about 2months later!
Today I finally got the courage to take her to a private groomer who informed me that she had never encountered a dog who was as terrified of being washed and of the dryer as my little girl was! The lady had to towel dry my dog!
On departing my little girl kissed the groomer goodbye that never happened with the groomers at Pet Barn!
TAKE HEED people be aware of your best friend's warning signs! Avoid Pet Barn like Covid!

My family have been patients of Dr Simon Carter for almost 20years he is without doubt the best Dr I've ever been to & at age 79 I've seen many! Anyone who has a complaint about him has a problem within themselves, not with Simon! I read that someone had to wait 3hrs, I call B/S on that! Yes I've had to wait more than an hour but that's because he is very thorough with every patient not just his regular patients! Every patient is seen as per their appointment time! The only patients who are seen to immediately are people who are having heart problems or who have been injured or vomiting! They are ushered to the treatment room and cared for by the wonderful nurses! As for the receptionists being rude: They're not! Try putting up with whingers 8 hours a day & see how you like it! I've heard how some patients speak to the receptionists as if they were dirt beneath their feet! If I was a receptionist I'd tell the whingers to go elsewhere!
